Love this thread- it's a great indicator of posters' age.

For me, it's:
'72 Ole Miss
'79 USC
'82 Alabama
'82 Florida State.

We had just moved back to BR, and my Dad took me and two younger brothers to our first LSU game. It was 1958, and the beginning of a championship year. Saw Billy Cannon and the Chinese Bandits. I was 11 at the time. We were in the South end zone, and I got chills seeing the Tigers come running out of the North end tunnel. Those uniforms were awesome. The band was great.

I’ve been fortunate to have seen 3 Championships. All were part of my Good Times.

But that first game with my Dad, is my favorite football memory.

Auburn vs LSU, 1988. The atmosphere was electric. Auburn was unbeaten and one of the top teams in the country.

LSU was only 2-2 and coming off a shocking road loss to Ohio St (after leading by 13 with only a couple minutes left), and being flattened at Florida. Nevertheless, the Tiger fans were as animated as ever the whole game, and not a one of them left until the final horn had sounded!

LSU-Ole Miss, 1976. We won 45-0 and then my date threw a surprise 21st birthday party for me in the South stadium dorms. All my friends and family who were at the game to watch my brother play in his first season as a Tiger were there too. I had pink champagne for the first - and last time. So fun!

Bring Back the Magic, great seats - I got to share it with Pops Midnight. Great game, great experience.

Tiger Stadium at its finest. Close second is Florida 2007.

Killing the bear 1982, beat the living shite out of them. Score was only 10 points, but it was a total arse beating.

Corey Webster’s INT against Georgia. I was a student. Game day atmosphere was incredible. Still my favorite TS memory.

Asked my wife to get married at the Earthquake game. We were in the student section. I knew after that game we were gonna have a great life together.

Married 29 years now...

Yes, but 2002 left a stale taste. Mauck injury, 31-0 loss to bama, got smoked @Aub, Miracle on Markham, Texas comfortably wins the Cotton. Highlights were stomping UF and the BG Miracle. UGA 2003 is when it felt like we had arrived to stay for a while.

I get your point, but that 02 season was due to the starting qb going down, other then that we pushing for another SEC title game. I feel comfortable stating that.
