Something positive: Your favorite LSU football memory

For me it is not a big win, tough defeat, or anything like that....
It was Fresno State vs LSU in 2006. It was actually storming and the start of the game was delayed, however, the student section was rocking. We actually went through all of the pregame songs in the rain with an empty stadium. It helped that many of us were already soaked due to tailgating but that was a fun game. I ended up leaving my Doc Martens in the stadium because they were so heavy from being soaked.
After that comes some obvious ones such as being in the Dome to beat Oklahoma then partying on Bourbon Street after. Everyone was friends, people were hugging and high fiving strangers, people bought each other drinks, it was a blast.
Finally Florida vs LSU, LSU beat invincible #1 Florida. I was younger but my family had season tickets. We almost didn't go to this game because my dad thought LSU would get blown out. I just remember after the game getting a sideline cone that still sits at my parents house in the guest room.

2003 UGA game at home. We knew we were real. Only negative to it was that it was a Day game.

That was one of the loudest games I've attended, besides the Florida Jacob Hester game

My first game after graduating. IIRC it was supposed to be an 8pm kickoff on one of the ESPN networks. I actually had a headache all day, so with the delay and weather, I don't have the fondest memories for that one.
Too many great memories to isolate, but the 2002 South Carolina game has always been underrated to me. The student section was an insane asylum after Hookfin's pick six.

I agree the LSU/USC game in 1979 and I'll throw in the 1970 LSU/Notre Dame revenge game in Baton Rouge after losing 3-0 the previous year in South Bend.

There are too many to number but, in no particular order except chronological, here are just a few:
-LSU beating Bama in '82. Listened on the radio.
-Tulane vs LSU (big fight ending)
-Hokie Gajan kickoff return in the rain against Florida
-Almost every time the crowd responds to Hold That Tiger
-Beating UF in '97
-Both Championships in my lifetime
-'07 SEC Champ game vs UT
- probably the Number One favorite of mine, my Dad picking my brother and me up early from school to take us to an LSU JV game on a Thursday afternoon.

I was going to say firing Miles too but it was followed by the most disappointing moment when Ed O was named his replacement.

First favorite moment growing up-
LSU crushing Florida State to get the Orange Bowl bid in 1982.
That was the first time in my memory as a fan that EVERYTHING went exceedingly, amazingly right for my team. Big game against worthy opponent with major reward waiting for the winner, and we played incredibly well. Fla St hung in there a little while, but we just kept pounding away and blew them off the field. Won the game going away, the fans threw oranges on the field, the fog rose up and started spilling over the rim of the stadium like some movie special effect. It was a magical night.

When we lost to UAB in 2000 I got drunk and banged a fat chick in the old dorms under tiger stadium. She wasn’t hideously fat. Just chunky.
Edit: for the record I thought Saban was the next Gerry DiNardo after that game. Man was I wrong.

Man if that is your favorite memory, you've missed a lot of great things. I feel sorry for you actually

I love everything about 2012, 2014, and 2016 Bama except for the outcomes. I spent those games with a variety of people that I care greatly for and the atmosphere was electric. Those are some of the best weekends of my life.
