What LSU does this year depends on Nuss and he is the only concern as he is a boom or bust QB in throws and decision making and he is not a runner.

Who has he played:

Arkansas: 83rd total defense
Tulane: 113th total defense

LSU at 17th in total defense and the speed at linebacker gives me reason to believe that Chambliss will have a harder time doing what he does on Saturday

Had to ask AI to clarify...
quote:

Adjusted completion percentage is a Pro Football Focus (PFF) metric that measures a quarterback's accuracy by accounting for throws outside of their control. It credits on-target throws that are dropped by receivers but removes passes that are thrown away, spiked, batted, or thrown while the quarterback is hit, providing a more accurate view of a passer's true ability to place the ball where it needs to go. Also frick Ole Miss.

He's really killed it against Georgia St, Arkansas, and Tulane. Congrats, I guess?

What were Johnny Manziel and Lamar Jackson’s stats before facing LSU?

I'm not knocking the kid, but there's a reason he played DII before coming to OM. Arky is horrific defensively and Tulane doesn't have athletes to compete with OM. If he runs up and down the field against us, I'll be the first to tip my cap.

If Chambliss is so good then why was he second string to start the year and why was he playing D2 last year?

Not FCS.

D 2.

I get some guys get missed but I just have trouble making sense of that.

If memory serves me, Joey B was 2nd string at “The" Ohio State. Maybe a change in scenery is all Chambliss needed. Maybe the OM offensive schemes fit his game.
Let’s wait until Saturday. LOTS of questions about both teams.

I don't know Johnny's offhand but I do remember Lamar got sacked like 12 times vs Houston and got blown the frick out on a random Thursday decently late in the season. Lamar was obviously great but the rest of that team especially the OL sucked and no surprise Louisville fell deep in the gutter once he left and they sent Bobby P packing soon after. By the time we played them it had already been shown a decent defense that could keep the edges sealed could slow that offense down and we also had a month for Aranda to prepare on top of it.

Chambliss has a much better supporting cast than Lamar ever did. I will say though that I trust in Baker to have a plan ready and Chambliss hasn't seen anything remotely like what he'll go against this Saturday, the training wheels are off the bike for him now.

Against Georgia St., Arkansas, and Tulane.

LSU should just forfeit now.

Joe burrow was never second string at LSU. Simmons won the job outright to start the season and only reason Chambliss started was because Simmons was hurt.

At OSU joe he lost out to a first round pick Dwayne Haskins (rip).

Do you think Austen Simmons will be a first round pick?
