You're the one who's delirious. The Offensive line is garbage. Most couldn't start at Tulane. Our LBers are garbage. We have Cameron Lewis playing safety. Darren Evans playing CB. No TEs whatsoever outside of Bech (who's not really a TE). RBs are slow and mediocre at best as is our starting QB. He stares down receivers, has a noodle arm, and overthrows half the time.

Sure, we've had Top 5 recruiting classes that were stacked with skill players, but no blue chip Olinemen. Overall, look at the incredible attrition from the 2018 and 2019 classes. Look at guys like Josh White, Greg Penn, Phillip Webb, and Antoine Sampah who haven't done a damned thing. If they were that talented, the coaches would find a way to get them on the field.

This team is really middle of the road where talent is concerned. And don't get me started on our strength and conditioning. Bradford should not play until he loses 30 lbs. I caught a side shot of Hines, and he has the "dunlap" of a 45-year old man. Those are just two examples. There's no accountability, and it's truly sad.

LSU isn't close to being one of the most talented teams even in the secw. Take a look at all the departures from the 18-19 recruiting classes.
Our Oline could be the very worst in major college football...where is the talent there?
Dline gets mauled against KY....slow as crap
Our LB's...well everyone knows just how little talent is there and hyped beyond recognition
Our DB's used to play for Nicholls State. Our top two DB's are not playing. Our 5 star safety is was said to be healthyg and tearing it up this past week in practice can't see the field (portal calling) when our safety play is horrendous. Rb's are too slow.
Our talent level is grossly overrated presently, and the coaching is even worse. That doesn't produce much confidence going forward. We just got blown out by KY. Time to clean house of coaches and most players.

This team is not one of the most talented. This narrative has to stop!

Go listen to the Hannycast from earlier this week. Many of the folks from the high classes that are supposed to be seniors or juniors are not on the team anymore or have not developed into anything.

How many NFL players do you see on offense on this team?

We fired a coach at 2-2 for going 11-5 in his last 16 games and you were happy to see that.

Now we are 3-3 and our coach is 8-8 arguably we have one of the most talented teams but WORST performances since the 90s and you’re asking for more time for him to finish the season.

Do you love LSU or do you love coach O?
Firing Les, who was over a decade removed from his championship, was the correct move and should never be debated, especially since we know what a scumbag he was in hindsight.

Last night was bad, but you are sorely mistaken if you think this is one of our most talented teams. Outside of wide receiver and kickers, we aren't. The d-line is talented but most of that talent is young.

Our QB isn't very good so that nullifies our most talented group, the wide receivers. Maybe things slow down for Max, but until it does we should start working Nuss into the rotation.

The season is going to be rough regardless. I'll let those closest to the situation make those decisions.. and I'll support them.

It's irrelevant what we want. There are contractual issues at play. SW is moving the chess pieces. I will melt with you if O isn't fired at some point but be patient. Whether he is fired today or after the season is over doesn't really matter.

Disagree that this team has no talent. The talent is there for the most part. The conditioning and basic fundamentals are not there. Our players on defense fall for almost all misdirections by good not great teams. Our offense is slow and not nearly physical enough to dominate anyone. Recruiting has been really good at some positions but meh at other positions. You can not have good lines by getting Ivy League linemen or QBs as in the past and also the present. There is no one smart enough to be the center on this team except Shanghai! We a stuck in the mud until recruiting the trench men gets better. I have seen better OLines at the Division II level. It’s a recipe to lose and lose big. We will be lucky to get four wins this season. Coach O is responsible for this mess and he must go. Geaux tigers.

Deservedly so.

frick the stats. Losing 20+ starters to the draft and graduation, Covid restrictions and KEY players sitting out as a result, then losing your starting QB after three games should be taken into account. In short, wipe 2020 from the equation.

Is why he should be fired.

I've said this for quite a while..... When I saw how disorganized and inept he was all I heard from fans here was we love him because he is "one of us", even last year when most fans still thought he was one of CFB's great coaches and defended him to the nth degree. Now that the house has fallen the truth is coming out and it certainly wasn't hard to see from the beginning, at least not IMO.

everyone who wasn’t a blind homer knew this was destined to fail.

O managed to catch lightning in a bottle for one glorious year, but after Burrow, Brady, and Aranda left, the death spiral began immediately.

It was entirely predictable for anyone was wasn’t fooled by his accent.

What does his accent have to do with anything. I’m sure you sound like a a-hole with your accent. I Love LSU and I think Coach O loves LSU. But that doesn’t mean I don’t think we need a change for HC . The hate for the guy astonishes me . He isn’t doing a good job we need to move on . Some of you are miserable people …..

It helps that I've never really seen O as "one of us"

Louisiana to me isn't about showing how macho you are, or having an accent that the sportscasters can't understand. It's about a willingness to be different from everyone else but comfortable with it, and the ability to rise from adversity.

Coach O doesn't really embody any of that.

There's maybe 5 of them on this board dude. And I'm probably exaggerating it a bit saying 5.

Fair enough. Ed does not know how to fix this team.
And that is the end of it.

If he can not right the ship, and I say he can't because we see the same issues/mistakes repeated over seasons now, there is no, none, zilch reason to continue.

Only the future matters.

Ed didn’t know that KY had a great rushing attack. Said he was surprised by their running game. WTH?
