Some benefits of smaller stadium crowds

Before all you haters out there get mad,I'm just trying to shed a little positive light on the situation. These are just some things that I've thought about this month, but I'm sure we can put our heads together to come up with more. It's easy to see the negatives in everything, a lot harder to see the good.
1. more leg room
2. smaller lines at the bathroom
3. you can hear the band better
4. you can hear the QB audibles (immersive experience)
5. maybe a mike the tiger appearance?
6. less crowded gift shop
7. you can have conversations in the stands
8. less likely to spill your drinks
9. less post-game traffic
10. you can hear coach O yell at players

You can leave at halftime and not feel guilty because it looks everyone else already left too.

If I wanted all of that I would go to La Tech games!

11) You can sit behind the opponents bench and yell insults about their looks, their girlfriends, or their mamas.

Will there be a band?

Yes for home games and no for road games. Band will not perform at halftime for fear of blowing corona onto the crowd through their instruments (I’m not joking)

Not gonna happen

I'm sure I'll get downvoted, but there is a part of me that wouldn't mind:
1. Less traffic/more and closer parking
2. Less cramped setting to watch the game
3. Not having to waste time watching LSU beat up on inferior opponents (UTSA, Nichols)
4. Avoiding all but one game in the heat of September.
I'm not saying the atmosphere will be perfect. Then again, if LSU can get 50k or so in the stadium it will essentially be the equivalent of most second half crowds

1. my legs are in front of me, not on the side of me so that doesnt help.
2. Never really had a problem unless i went at half time which i avoid.
3. You can hear the band on any given day; hearing it better may be a little plus but I'd still rather 90,000 - 100,000 people.
4. Gay
5. Nope, not happening
6. Gay
7. Who gives a shite about a conversation... there to watch the game
8. thats due to your drink slipping out of your hands or your feet kicking it over
9. Def a plus
10. Gay

(Ignoring the absurdity of band restrictions entirely) Wait so the band won’t spread the virus while playing in the crowd, but they will apparently spread it while playing 50 yards minimum away from the crowd on the field?

According to JBE's regs NOW, LSU can have 51,115 people in the open areas of the stadium.
With Louisiana's hospitalizations and ventilators under control, JBE ain't sending us back to Phase One.
Note: John Bel Edwards is the first governor anyone can remember who had his own LSU Football season tickets BEFORE he was elected to any state office. JBE is a legit Tiger fan.

And is not shy about it at all. Lest we forget he was front and center at the Heisman ceremony. A very small venue I might add.

This info is relevant how? Those goalposts can easily be moved via fake surprise and outrage.
The way that soft, career administrators react to rabid Twitter pressure is the concern. Nothing to do with the actual virus matters at all in these decisions.
Lol @ you if you think LSU will have 50,000 people in TS this September while the state is punishing restaurants/bars for having a few dozen. You apparently haven’t been paying attention since March—the actual impact of the virus is not what matters. The overreaction of career government workers and Twitter moms are the ONLY thing that matters.

He also threatened to cancel LSU football. That’s not a legit fan.

then obviously they won't play at all then.
