Coupled with the recruit of Alison WallJasper(the spelling could be wrong), this could be a very interesting year. She too is a tall girl from California that is also suppose to be the real deal.

DW Daniel HS is one of the 3 schools at which Pete played basketball...looks like he was there from 1961-63

I think the catcher from STM is also committed. I could be wrong, but I think she's LSU. She would be a nice cleanup hitter to compliment rest of the lineup. She is a power hitter. She and Chance Vallot made quite a catching tandem at STM. Think she will be a senior next year.
Nevermind...Just saw she was committed elsewhere. Thought i remember some ballpark chatter about her maybe ending up at LSU. For now, she's Bama.

Not a huge loss. LSU is stacked at catcher right now.

My daughter batted off of her twice that season. She threw her 6 pitches total. I'll let you figure the outcome.
