Softball transfer Carley Hoover

From Stanford...pitcher...Gatorade National player of the year '12-'13...can anyone else add to this who knows softball?

Where did this good news come from? I haven't seen anything posted anywhere on the interwebs about it..and I follow softball pretty closely.
What I have dug up about her:
--6'2" and throws almost 70mph (which is equivalent to upper 90's in baseball)
--Pitched the first week of the season at Stanford, then had some sort of freak injury that sidelined her the rest of the year (couldn't find out what it was)
--Played nose-tackle on a 10-under state championship football team in South Carolina
Stanford's coach retired at the end of this past season which was their first NCAA tournament miss in 15 years.
No idea why she transferred, but if this is true, this is a HUGE grab for LSU. In fact, I would bet she can get a medical redshirt since she only pitched in a few games and be able to have 4 years at LSU.

Hoover has been clocked at 73-74 mph and during her high school career averaged more than two strikeouts per inning. Though she throws a variety of pitches, her speed sets her far above others. There might be a half-dozen pitchers in the world who throw 73.
Three times during her senior season, Hoover struck out 21 batters in a game and she never gave up more than three hits in a single outing. She struck out 70 percent of the batters she faced.
She also was a presence at the plate and set a pair of national prep records for being walked - career walks (157) and single-season walks (55). During one for-game streak, she was walked 16 times and over a two-year period (60 games) was walked 112 times. A four-time all-state selection and Class 3A Player of the Year, Hoover also batted .500 with four home runs and 45 runs scored.
As a 6-foot-1 sixth grader in 2008, Hoover pitched her Simpsonville (South Carolina) team to the Little League World Series title. In that 2008 title game, Hoover was clocked at 61 mph as a 12-year old.
Everyone who has coached - or played against - Hoover, say the same things: She takes the game to the next level.
“She’s one of the best pitchers I’ve seen play the game,” said Bobby Sowell, head coach at Hartsville (S.C.). “Her velocity is at the top of the scale for a softball player, regardless of age. Her pitches have very good movement and she seems to always pitch ahead in the count.”
She’s fine with the compliments and quickly says her goal is to lead the Cardinal to a Women’s World Series title. She got an early start at Stanford, when she turned down a spot on the U.S. Junior team to start classes at Stanford in June.
“I’ve been blessed with size, ability and opportunities,” said Hoover. “I’ve had some great memories, but I hope to be part of Stanford University’s first national softball title,”

Apparently there is some politics with parents at Stanford which led to their coach retiring or something. Stanford had behind the scenes drama or where they called for the resignation according to the softball board (Ultimate College Softball). Quite a few threads about Stanford there.

Not even exaggeratin or being hyperbolic, I'll be a little surprised if LSU softball doesn't win a national title over these next 4 years. Its not even funny how big if a steal Beth torina was for LSU. We'll at least make a few WCWS appearances with what our roster looks like over the nexy few years
