Meanwhile Bama played a bunch of glorified high school teams in their regional. How that overrated bunch got the overall number one seed I don’t know? They seem to give that weirdo who coaches them the easiest friggin route to okc every single year

And this series was fun to watch. Spectacular pitching and great plays on offense and esp. defense. It was a far cry from the baseball misery

Congrats to the softball Tigers. This team needs to return to OKC after a decade drought, but you have to take the first step and good job winning the Regional going undefeated.
Next year is Beth’s contract year and barring a total collapse, it’s inevitable that Verge extends her. In this day of NIL, Beth will be happy to have a job and she doesn’t have the leverage to complain about no NIL funds. So as long as she makes a Regional every year and hosts it a good bit of the time, Verge will be fine with that.
I’m not super happy about it, but I’ve come to accept that this job is Beth’s as long as she wants it.
