Wanna congratulate the Lady Tigers on one of the best days of the year. Offensively, we were on fire. Griggs had probably the best day of her career and Sanchez had the first 3 hit game of the year against McNeese. Serrett smoked some balls and Springfield and Jaquish added some punch that has been missing.
Everything was clicking on the offensive side. Congrats to the girls on really stepping up when it mattered most. I wish we could have played another one last night

As tigerfootball said, LSU would advance based on them being the higher seed. I hate ULL as much as the rest of us, but I have to admit I would be pretty pissed. Hopefully they're able to settle it on the field.
Imagine tRant if the roles were reversed. I'd be raising hell.
ETA: Pretty pissed if I was a ULL fan** I won't lose any sleep if this scenario plays out

It's a shitty rule but because of dates being preset I guess they really don't have a better way. To me you play it whenever you can then move on, if you only have two days before the next round so be it.

sounds like carley did well. LSU's pitching depth could be a deciding factor as i had laid out before plus sounds like the bats did great. Did Alex pitch last night for the cajuns? I missed the game. with a night's rest i expect alex to pitch today for the cajuns. i will guess alie for LSU.

She threw into the 3rd when Lotief pulled her because we were hitting it hard. Denham and Ellison also pitched

Your ace started, then they pulled her after falling behind 3-0 in the 3rd inning. We saw two more Cajun pitchers the rest of the way.

And Hoover did look shaky vs McNeese. The Cowgirls had a few scoring threats early in the game, Hoover looked angry most of the time. But then, she started the game against the Cajuns and had completely different body language. She pitched very well and the shortstop made a great play to end the only real threat the Cajuns had when the score was still 1-0. Hoover kind of cruised after that.

When Hoover is in the zone and has even average command she is incredibly difficult to deal with. When she has excellent command she is almost unhittable.
She is homicidally competitive. I am glad she is on our team!
This has really been the story of our year. When we hit at all we are tough to beat and typically we are pretty good hitters against non SEC pitching.

Apparently both coaches would have played this morning but the NCAA wants it played later. Can't say the coaches didn't try because they sure did.
