TJ has the most potential of the group. no way he doesn't play. Dupree should see the most improvement because he didn't get many chances in hs. diarse and Quinn better step up their game or they will get passed up by TJ by midseason.

Tyron should be our 3rd WR by midseason. As DeltaDoc said, Quinn is about to be the odd man out. No way in hell Tyron redshirts.

He is about the be the odd man out. TJ and Dillon are about to push him down the depth chart.

Competition will bring out the best in this young man. I have zero doubts that he'll come back bigger, faster, stronger, and more reliable in 2015.

Could not agree more. I will address a few posts:

Him being white has NOTHING to do with any positive comments on here. His body of work as a four time 5A all-state selection, camp performances, all-stars, etc. speaks for itself, we should not let one subpar game influence our thinking of ANYBODY. If anything, I think he has been criticized more by some parts of the population because he is white but the good news is HE is the most color blind person there is and could care less.

There is no shortage of film to back up his body of work, this is not just my opinion.

I also think our passing game overall will show much improvement due to experience.

I get the attraction with high school seniors/signees being the popular guys, much like the back up QB seems to always be "the guy". I think it is premature to ask/expect high school seniors to show up and be "the guy".

Regardless of your opinions and who plays, I simply hope that we acheive more balance on offense, as I truly beleive if this happens we will be the team to beat for the next few years!

Tyron Johnson easily. Dural will be our vertical threat, Malachi is the possession red zone threat with speed, Diarse is great with the psychical comeback routes and Tyron has the quickness to be a crossing route slot guy.

Quinn, Dillon, Peterson, and Chark will see the field but I feel like those 4 have a crazy combination to be something special.

Have you not seen this kids vertical? He has the hands, the length and the vertical he just needs to put on 10-15 pounds and he'll be getting crazy separation

not that good of a legit route runner

Considered his best trait coming out of high school, but, ok.

Name one legit corner he faced in hs.

Definitely none from Sulphur, but I guess playing at the highest class in the state and whipping almost every DB he faced doesn't count.

I thought he'd make more of an impact considering he was starting this year, but shitty QB play didn't help... and he did shite the bed against Alabama, no doubt. When the QB actually puts the ball in the right place you can't drop it. I think he improves next year.

He better hope so. I remember a few ill-timed drops from him last season. If he can't at least be a possession WR he's going to get passed up.

Michael sam is probably the best Db he has ever faced in high school and Barbe runs rub routes like Baylor and no one calls it. He got all the mismatches a Ss, a lb, a fs. But never a #1 cb. When he did went from avg 200 yds to 30yds

All of the film on YouTube says you are wrong! Watch the film, it is free to the public!

Rummel bracketed him with two DB's that are in the SEC. New Iberia played man with safety help with two D1 caliber Db's. Those were the only two teams that had success slowing him down in four years of 5A football, in one of the best districts. Evangel, West Monroe, Acadiana, and Carencro all had D1 DB's that gave up 200-300 yards on " rub" routes. Rub routes......now THAT is funny, AND original! My favorite part of your post is that he got all the mismatches. So who were the DB's all defending then? Most defenses were geared to not let him beat you with the big play.

Johnson over Quinn. Dural and Dupree/Diarse at x and y. Johnson, quinn, Dillon at slot. There are so many other wrs that should contribute, but we'll see.

Johnson wont get as much PT as everyone thinks. He has a ways to go to pass up the Freshman that got a ton of work this year. He might catch 10-15 balls

I support every kid that puts on the purple and gold. Even kids like Welter that hurt our team. That being said, I won't be mad if Quinn never sees the field again. The kid has bad hands and is too small. Dropping those balls vs Bama is unforgivable. Not 1. Not 2. But 3. I don't care if he's a freshman or not. A wr has to catch the damn ball.

Some of you are so damn stupid. I'm glad you aren't coaches, or OBJ, Brandon Lafell, and Dwayne Bowe would have never gotten a chance under you. Quinn was a Freshman! He made plays all year long. He had two very untimely drops in the biggest game of the year, and now everyone acts like he's garbage. He's a player you'll be very glad chose to play for LSU by the time his 4 years are up.

Congrats. Nice to see someone as mentally challenged as you can post on an internet board.

Landry, Bowe, Lafell, and that guy who's catching everything in the NFL? Oh yeah Beckham. All dropped multiple catches that should have been made early in their college careers. Should they all have never seen the field again?

Quinn made most of his catches having to adjust due to poorly placed throws... the Alabama drops were bad, but to say he should never play again is just stupid.

Three huge drops in 1 huge game. This is big time football. Next man up. As a qb I wouldn't throw the ball Quinn's way. Certainly not with the game on the line. Kid should be buried on the depth chart imho.

I wish the kid the best of luck, but he isn't ready for sec football. Clearly.

Ok. So you are just stupid.

So, when Dural can't beat a jam at the line and the pass gets intercepted in the Bama game, don't throw him the ball.

When Dupre gets run out of bounds on multiple pass plays and doesn't adjust due to inexperience, he should be benched.

The receivers were inexperienced last year. They'll all improve. Recievers screw up, like every player does. You don't bury them on the depth chart because of one game.

And it was two drops, Not three.

I aint stupid. Put the kid on special teams. It's obvious to me the kid doesn't have it. I would never make a video downplaying an LSU kid, but Quinn's frosh video would be nothing but drops. I had high expectations for this guy and he really let me down. Let the whole Tiger Nation down. Big time.
