I think Quinn could have a big sophomore season.

People talk about the drops, let's look at the other side of the coin- for a true freshman, Quinn sure did seem to draw a lot of attention from the QB. He was targeted a number of times on well-thrown balls (which he would drop a good bit, yes) on nice, on-rhythm plays.
Dupre ran fades. Dural ran go routes. Quinn seemed to be the best at slants and crossing routes.

Was he great? No. But if he can complete the catch (something he should be able to do), he already has the rest in place.

"Butter Fingers" Quinn....

I wouldn't go that far, but honestly don't see why Diarse wasn't starting in front of him, especially as the season went on and it became more and more apparent that the stage was to big for Quinn in his true freshman year. Next year may be a different story but Diarse is just as good a receiver but a much more physical gritty player. I see shades of Landry in Diarse.

If we can't get the passing game to become much more effective in toto this season, with all the raw talent at QB (both Jennings and Harris) and reciever (to numerous to name), then it's time to move on from Cam IMO. Many OC's can only dream of this kind of talent to work with. Raw talent needs to be molded. So far it doesn't look like he is very good at working with raw talent.

I'm a big fan of Cam but I agree. One more year like the last and he's just another Crowton to me.

Got to agree... of course there would be a huge drop in production going from Mett to Jennings/Harris, but to not see even a little bit of progress through the entire season was very concerning. Cam better make them at least moderately better this year.
