Quinn dropped 3 passes that hit him in the hands vs Bama. Sure Dural, Dupree, and Diarse might not get off the line or drop a pass. But not 3 in the biggest game of the year. You can attack me as a person, but I call it like I see it. I wish the best for Quinn and hope he improves, but if I'm the qb at LSU, I aint lookin Quinns way ever again. Especially in a big game and certainly not on 3rd down

2 passes. Learn to count. Amari Cooper, the best WR in college football dropped three in that game.

Watch the tape. It was 3. Even if it was only 2, there's no excuse. The kid makes a critical 3rd down catch and LSU wins. I blame Quinn more than I do Chavis.

Huh. Blaming the accidental squib kick, Alexander's stupid penalty, Melvin Jones dropping a pass in OT, bad QB play as usual, an incomplete pass ruled a catch for Bama on the final drive, and 3rd down drops by Quinn are all valid reasons why they lost. Collectively. Not just because of him.

Hopefully all the receivers improve and help the team next year. But to hope one never plays again and is benched is dumb.

Thankfully you're not the qb. If the same philosophy were applied to ODB jr his freshman year, he wouldn't have just won roy because he also went through a period of bad drops.

I support every kid that puts on the purple and gold. Even kids like Welter that hurt our team. That being said, I won't be mad if Quinn never sees the field again. The kid has bad hands and is too small. Dropping those balls vs Bama is unforgivable. Not 1. Not 2. But 3. I don't care if he's a freshman or not. A wr has to catch the damn ball.

Wow.
Some of you morons never cease to amaze me on this site.

Quinn still needs to learn how to catch the ball. He gets short arms when he goes over the middle!

Please explain to me what this kid provided this year and why he should be on the field. I just don't see it. Would rather go with Dural, Diarse, Dupree, or Smith. Just don't trust Quinn. Maybe the expectations were too high. The kid hurt us more than he helped this year. Can't recall him making any big plays. Didn't block very well and had the drops in numerous games.

Probably will do better when the QBs learn how to throw it.

AJ's best throws this year hit Quinn in the hands... I hope he can contribute to LSU in some way. Other than crowd surfing.

I've seen a lot of people talking about how Johnson is better than Quinn. Can someone explain that rationale? They were both similarly rated coming out of high school, they are roughly the same size and both had fantastic high school careers with Quinn having one of the best of all time. I understand that Quinn had some critical, costly drops last year, but does that mean the guy can't play? I think there's something to be said for experience and at this point, Quinn has it and Johnson doesn't. I would be shocked if our opening game 3-wr set didn't consist of some combination of Dural/Dupre/Diarse/Quinn.

You obviously watched a different season than i did. I remember in MULTIPLE games Quinn running around with 5 yards of seperation and the QB's never looked his way.

And this was well before the Bama game where he had 2 drops.

Okay dude, we get it, he was great in high school. All people are saying here is that he dropped a lot of catchable balls last year. But hey, that hs film sure is fun to watch!

I know right? Dropping those two passes was terrible. Just like that Odell Beckham Jr. Dropping multiple passes his sophomore year and muffing that punt against Georgia, contributing to that loss. Too bad they put him on the field his junior year after all those bad plays the previous year, huh?

frickin tard.

I'm not saying a freshman will pass Quinn by, I just don't see him being able to stay on the field. BH ain't gonna look TQ's way when the cards are on the table.

What players improve?!?!? I had no idea! So your'e telling me that even though Anthony Jennings had a poor season last year that there is a chance that he might get better?? despite what all the coaches of the rant say?! That's crazy talk, man!
