Exactly, stupid. That was the point. Quinn had two bad drops against Bama. He also was tied for second on the team for catches. He can improve next year and be the WR everyone expects.

not sure yet. It will come down to competition in spring and fall camp. Honestly between Dural, Diarse, Dupre, Johnson, Quinn, Dillon, L Fournette, Guice, Williams, D Smith, Brossette, along with a deep talented and veteran offensive line, we have weapons literally everywhere. If cam cannot get either QB to play at at least a decent level, he should be replaced. That offense is saturated with talent.

This. Les miles also should start thinking about the painful idea of why are all of his QB's are not productive.
If we can't get the QB to produce this year, I predict a mass exodus.

I hope not. But I don't know if they can keep these kinds of numbers. I have never seen a unit so deep and so young. Being generous (counting Fournette as a RB and Jackson as a corner), we will have 11 scholarship WRs. I'm guessing 2-3 redshirt this season. That doesn't leave much playing time for the 8-9 guys.

Going into 2016, we are only scheduled to lose Dural (maybe). Those 2-3 redshirt guys are ready to play and maybe Martin is coming out of prep school. That would be 10-11 guys ready to play (with no recruits next offseason and not many left to redshirt). I would guess a couple of guys will look to transfer. Just to get some playing time. I can't really blame them for not wanting to be 4th string and there are only so many guys that can play special teams (especially when starters are being used there)..

What does he being white have to do with it? Have you heard anyone say....hell yea we have a white receiver he's the best cause he's white?
How about he broke the ALL TIME HIGH SCHOOL RECEIVING RECORD? Trey Quinn did something nobody else has done! He has worked very hard but yet some down play his skills and talent. Is it because he's white?
Last year wasn't productive for any Lsu receiver worth bragging about. All the drops that is being brought up when actually it was only 2 key drops in the same game the same game the #1 receiver in college had more. With all said Trey Quinn will be the hardest on himself. He is smart, and will make adjustments. If we actually pass in 2015 I believe he will show why he is one of the best!

You obviously didn't watch him all year. His drops were just in key situations, therefore much more noticeable. You can't act like other young players didn't make mistakes.
With that being said, he will definitely have to shine this year with all the talent breathing down his neck.
LSU should be unstoppable if Harris pulls his head out.

Me too. I know the drops were bad, but they were magnified by the enormity of the game... he actually made some good catches on balls that weren't thrown well. Some on here obviously just watched the Bama game and assumed that he drops everything.

Quinn made most of his catches having to adjust due to poorly placed throws... the Alabama drops were bad, but to say he should never play again is just stupid.

You forgot about kennon fontenot, galentine, fowlkes, smith, williams, and that oth. From evangels db coach "smith was the bigger problem".

But hey it might sound salty but it's facts. Definitely think the kid belongs just don't like the system. For him. Writings on the wall when they pulled him after he started all season. i don't agree with that but to sign all these wrs? Cmon what's that saying to him? Not much special teams. I honestly thought we had another Hester in him.

Key phrase: "If we throw it"
We have some freak athletes at the position, but it doesn't matter who gets the snaps if you don't have a QB that can get them the ball. Would love to see Miles get Harris more snaps in the 3rd and 4th quarter of some of these blow outs.

9 catches for 349 yards and 5 TDs. But, Quinn wasn't as big a problem as Smith for Evangel. You bet, chief.

Landry, Bowe, Lafell, and that guy who's catching everything in the NFL? Oh yeah Beckham. All dropped multiple catches that should have been made early in their college careers. Should they all have never seen the field again?

I don't know about that. I remember a true freshman OBJ hitting the scene with a bang.

I'm sure he had drops but I remember him playing nothing like a true freshman, which is even more remarkable considering how good that team was.

Everyone is allowed to make mistakes but you have to have great moments as well to make up for it.

Correct, Beckham had a good freshman season... he struggled his sophomore year without Randle on the other side. Both he and Landry underperformed. Happens. Look how great they did the next year. The receivers (including Quinn) could also make that jump, with decent QB play.

The 2 guys who are locked in with starting spots are Dural and Dupre IMO.

We will most likely see a rotation between Diarse, Quinn, Johnson, Dillon, Chark, etc. for the #3 and #4 spots.

Regardless, all of them will see the field IMO. All bring something different to the table as well, which is a good thing. But you gotta think Tyron Johnson will emerge ad the man at some point towards the 2nd half of the season.

All I know is that we have a lot of talent at the WR spot with a lot of diff skill sets. All will play.

Trey's gonna surprise a lot of y'all. Knowing him makes me biased but he's one of those guys that really hates not performing is going to be the hardest on himself. You wouldn't believe the extra time he's been putting in. The DB's have said and still say he's the hardest to cover and runs the best routes. People forget he was still second in receiving

That said, Tyron Johnson is the real deal. He's going to push for playing time somewhere. Interesting tidbit though, while coming out of high school he was ranked higher than Trey, the numbers on his individual attribute ratings are lower than Trey's on 247. A lot of his billing is based off of his potential. The reason TQ didn't get a fifth star is because he's already pretty polished and recruiting services like to give 5th stars to guys they think have the potential to be game changers. Sometimes they're right, sometimes not so much. And sometimes the lower rated guys pass the higher rated ones up. We should go off of what we know and everything from the team says TQ is a stud. There is a reason he came in and started Game 1 without a spring camp.

That is the most honest non biased opinion and very agreeable! TY

i might appear as salty due to the rivalry but liked to had seen him in a true spread. Now IMO there will be too many rotations. Critic is not hating. Hating is saying he won't play ahead of none of them or he doesn't deserve to be there. He's a dog no lie but our dbs are suspect

Some of you people are real idiots. Insulting a kid over one bad game blame the dipshit special teams coach and miles for deciding to squib that kick or chavis' defensive philosophy hell. U did notice they would not have had a chance if the defense could've kept them out of the end zone before end of regulation. But that thought didn't cross your tiny little. Brains did it. Some of you people don't get t the saying that players win games but coaches lose them no matter what the truth of the matter is.
