I'd say if both were developed to their potential Brennan may have a slightly higher ceiling but Narcisse should have a fairly higher floor. Not sure we currently have the WR's to make Brennan look like Met just yet but they look promising.

Well obviously Brennan is further along right now or it would’ve been Narcisse as the backup this season. Whether that’s because of Narcisse’s injury or not is beside the point, they are where they are regardless. Pundits and coaches have said Brennan will most likely be an NFL QB, his study habits confidence and arm strength are all no doubters all that’s missing is actually putting it on film. Best possible outcome is Brennan starting the next two seasons while Narcisse totally heals and gets back to being comfortable playing the game giving, with his redshirt, Narcisse two full seasons to start once Brennan leaves after his Jr. year at LSU.

Gawd, I hope you're wrong!
That would mean Canada/O had little success in getting some freak QB talent recruited to LSU.

Depends on who you like better. Fanboys on both sides
Imagine both will see playing time next year

Looking back at recruiting profiles, Narcisse was more highly recruited than Brennan.
Brennan had more offers but they are two different styles of QB so got offers from different schools with the exception of LSU, Memphis, and Southern Miss. Here are all the offers they had according to 24/7
Brennan - LSU, Arkansas State, California, Cincinnati, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana-Lafayette, Memphis, Oklahoma State, Ole Miss, South Alabama, Southern Miss, Texas-San Antonio, Troy, Vanderbilt, Wake Forest, West Virginia, Wisconsin
Narcisse - LSU, Auburn, Alabama, Arizona State, Clemson, Grambling State, Illinois, McNeese State, Memphis, Nicholls State, North Carolina, Southern Miss, Tulane, Virginia

Narcisse (#2 ranked QB in LA) received offers from LSU, Auburn, Alabama, Clemson.
Those were some of Narcise's Premiere offers, some of Brennan's were LSU, Cal, Okie State, Wisconsin, and West Virginia.
I do suspect Narcisse is ultimately the better fit for what Canada appears to be doing right now, but Canada is also known to tailor his offenses to fit the talent he has.

Here's my question on LN....with him being a Dual Threat qb but having 2 major knee surgeries, will the coaches actually treat him like a dual threat and let him run like Hurts or not bc of fear for more injury?

Will be 3 years since Narcisse saw significant play. Make it stop.

LN was a early 4 star who committed early. His recruitment took off much earlier than MBs. Brennan was a 3 star until late July of his Sr. Year. He impressed 247 at the elite 11. Prior to late spring 2016, LN was higher ranked.

Way to early to know
We haven't seen Narcisse play
Brennan has seen very limited snaps
It will be a toss up IMO
At least both are very talented, hopefully one them can be very good for us at QB next year
IDK if this board will survive another year of bad QB play

We will not know until next year. When one of the players beats out the other.

Not trying to be smartass here, but when have you seen him play at this level. I hope the kid is great but he hasn't played in a game in nearly two years and that was high school big difference.

If O goes Brennon or bust, does the staff keep Narcisse ready purely as a backup? Or can he be taught the WR position?

Higher ceiling???
Yeah career wise, not just college so I guess that point doesn't really matter.

The honest answer and fair answer is we don't have any idea. Now maybe the coaches know but no one on here does.

who the coaches have already picked
If that's true then why did coach O say the other day after being cornered by a bunch of Brennan homers like you that Narcisse is now fully rehabilitated and that it was time to see what he can do real soon. He said it because their is going to be a quarterback competition whether you Brennan homers like it or not.
Not to mention, that Narcisse is a much better athlete than the skinny slow kid is and also has the strongest arm on the team. Indeed, if I were a gambler, I'd put my money on Narcisse long before I would put it on the skinny slow kid.

Narcisse got the quality offers, while Brennan got the quantity offers, obviously because Narcisse has the most potential and a much higher ceiling. Give me the guy with quality over the quantity offers any day of the week and twice on Sundays.
