So, what are our WRs looking like?

Maybe I missed something, but I haven't seen a lot discussing the wide receivers. We don't look to have anyone back from last year. I know everyone is excited about Leavitt, but someone has to catch his passes. Who do we expect that to be?
Yeah, I know Tre'Dez should be a featured target as a TE. Great talent, huge guy, lots of drops to clean up though (if he does he should be insanely good).
But I'm more wondering about the "pure" WRs on the team.

We have a plethora of WR’s including many game breakers. Not an issue.

86% of them will play in the NFL.

Pay attention. We loaded up in the portal and signed good high school prospects as well. We’ll be fine. Lane’s teams don’t struggle at WR.

Who should I look for to start, who should be the #1 target, the primary deep threat, etc.

They’re mostly unknown to me, but a lot of weapons
#6 Winnie Watkins (So.) from Ole Miss
#1 Jayce Brown (Sr.) from K-State
#3 Eugene Wilson (RS Jr.) from Florida
#2 Tre Brown (RS Jr.) from ODU
#4 Jackson Harris (RS Jr.) from Hawaii
Optimistic about #82 Roman Mothershed, 6’5 RS Jr from Troy… imagine defending that & TD Green in the red zone
And we have 2 FAST young guys from Destrehan

Brown and Winston are your customary split end types. Tre Wilson is your slot speed guy.
All I got.

Jackson Harris is the tall deep threat that had a great spring. 1000+ yard reciever last year at Hawaii
Winston Watkins & Jayce Brown are similar sure-handed slot guys that catch a lot of 1st downs and make people miss in close spaces
Eugene Tre Wilson is a big play waiting to happen if healthy. He has had great moments in his career, just injury prone. Can have a big year
Mothershed and Elzy also are big body guys with not a lot of production but can contribute

If tweet fails to load, click here. Is that a one-off, or do we expect to see a lot of him next year?

Nothing has happened In practice yet to give a definitive answer. It will be fun to track this summer.

Go to Dandydon.com and he has position group analysis reports. Page through a few of the older reports starting a week ago. Good stuff there.

No one really knows. They’ve only had a select number of practices. Ask this question again on August 15th and you’ll probably get better answers.

Watkins apparently tore it up in spring which isn't unexpected considering he was way ahead of the other WRs knowing Kiffin's system.
