Two 10 win seasons BTW. Jimbo had zero at A&M.

Guess who signed Jimbo at A&M?

If you are referring to the ridiculous contract Jimbo signed with the enormous buyout, it was the A&M Board of Regents. Woodward was long gone.

On December 1, 2017, Fisher resigned as the head coach at Florida State University to accept the same job at Texas A&M University. Fisher signed a 10-year, $75 million contract with the Aggies.

Prior to the 2021 season, the Texas A&M Board of Regents voted to extend Fisher's contract through the 2031 season. Beginning January 1, 2022, Fisher would be paid $9 million annually. If he was to be fired without cause before December 1, 2021, he would have been owed $95.6 million – the largest buyout clause in college football history.

8-9 win seasons, coach on a ridiculous contract so we can’t fire him. Ironically the same dumbass AD was involved.

Can’t make this shite up.
Jimbo didn't win 10 games nor make it to the SECCG game in 6 years.

Jimbo also had a losing season and was 6-4 10 games in to his last season before he was fired.

Kelly has two 10 win seasons in 3 years, and hasn't had a season under 9 wins.

LSU's floor this year is 8-4. Got damn we just lost by 5 points on the road vs Ole Miss and people act like the world ended. The only other games Ole Miss is more likely to lose than win are on the road vs UGA and Oklahoma, and they beat the dog shite out of UGA last year. Ole Miss could legit finish undefeated and at worst, be 9-3.

Stop being bitches.

This was still the first fully guaranteed contract for a HC of it's kind.

LSU's floor would be 8-4 with Coach Ham Sandwich at the helm.

Not at all. His records are below

7-6
9-4 (his best non covid year)
8-5
9-1 (covid)
8-4
5-7
6-4

Kelly with dog shite 30 kid roster:
10-4
10-3
9-4

Jimbo best sec record over 7 years, is Kelly's worst in 3 so far. Atm would kill for Kelly's last 3 years as their average seasons.

I would take Jimbo over BK at this point

absolutely

won a natty as a OC and a HC can also coach Qb's

He did, but the game passed him by possibly like it is doing to BK. Both had boring, unimaginative offenses.

Jimbo never even won 10 games at aTm and never reached the SECCG. His only good year was the COVID year and they had an easy schedule.

True but the horrible part of the contract that everyone thinks of with the absurd buyout is related to the extension and not the initial contract.

It would be like if LSU extended Kelly if he made the playoff, this season.

Except players loved Jimbo
The players loved Mikebo Archer, so Stringbo Music hired him instead of Stevebo Spurrier. Stevebo wanted the LSU job and being passed over pissed him off. Stevebo still resented LSU for that slight and had no mercy on the Tigers after he was hired at Florida. (With the exception of 1997)

And CBK shaves more consistently than Jimbo did. Jimbo would be on national TV with a 3-4 day beard all the time.

I never understood that.

It is looking like a close approximation.

I've been comparing it to Les with Crowton. That's what I see if you removed Studrawa and had a worse OL.

Yes - we are the new 8-4. A&M is looking more like 10-2
