Guy grilled him about his comments on Kiffin, but Paul said he has to talk about him and used the terms "directed or required " when talking about his stance on Kiffin

Edit: guy asked him if he had any reservations about his comments in kiffins character, motivation etc... Basically said shouldn't you be more careful.. and Paul kind of skirted that line..

But what I got out of it is that hes trying to represent the anger that the other 15 institutions have towards lsu right now.

So.. lets be real tho.. there's a bad actor amongst them causing this

It almost like his parent company is airing the game so they are directing him to drum up as much attention as possible. Crazy huh?

There is no bad actor! They are trying to drum up ratings! The amount of eyeballs on TV for LSU/Clemson will be thru the roof. You already had every college football fan but now you are getting additional eyeballs who are just curious what all the fuss is about.

Newsflash for you.

Everything is for clicks and viewers. They don't know or care about the shite they spew.

Extra bonus tip: Those reality shows on Discovery etc. are fake also.

Quit giving these people clicks/viewers and spreading the BS, it is exactly what they want you to do and why they say the stupid crap in the first place.

It was glorious! The guy was a doctor and his questions were right on point. Actually had Paul stumbling on his own words. Paul will be back to his normal idiotic, angry self soon!!

There has been several former ESPN'ers who were cut / laid off who later said that their commentary was directed at various subjects, mostly woke subjects, by Corporate suits. He's always looked for click bait but this has been a lot harsher. I have no doubt that he's following a script dictated by those suits.

Kiffin left UT (Finebaum is an alum) and Bama (Finebaum was Saban's fluffer) on his own terms.

Finebaum is a lost cause.

Dude it’s the talk of the CFB at the moment and Pawl typically takes the extreme position. That’s literally his shtick. He is paid to say things to get people to tune in. He is just being who he always is.

Having watched/listened to the Finebaum show minimally over my lifetime I feel confident in saying the only hardcore viewers are total morons in the southeast, primarily, but not exclusively residing in Alabama, still hanging on to the last remnants of caller-driven sports radio. There is a reason that format has essentially been dying for ~20 years. It's basically crowdsourcing the relative handful of morons still calling into sports radio shows.

The ONLY difference between Paul Finebuaum and someone like Buddy Songy is that Paul had the good fortune of hosting a show in a state with a boatload of passionate idiots on opposite sides of the SEC's biggest rivalry (Alabama v. Auburn). That redneck in-fighting over the phone is what made Finbaum famous. Not anything he personally did other than give the dumbasses a forum in which to argue.

That's not to say Alabama has the market cornered on redneck morons. There are PLENTY in Louisiana, Mississippi, Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, etc. It just those states aren't the venue of as big a rivalry among instate residents as Alabama is.

To the OP: Stop watching unless you feel the need to get dumber by association. Or, if you must watch, don't take anything the moron callers say with any degree of significance

Nobody hates Kiffin more than TN fans. Those TN sites & podcasts out of Nashville like Sport & State & Outkick pretty much run Kiffin hate a good part of their shows & articles.

Stop listening to the shriveled up log. I tuned him out quite a few years ago. I manage to stay informed.

Paul knows controversy generates interest...that being said, I haven't watched his show in a long time and his vendetta against LSU won't bring me back to watch him...

This weekend slate is shite so that's part of it. It's why they're suddenly talking about Clemson pulling an upset without naming one player on Clemson's team.
