I’m about to drift off to sleep laughing at Bama fans. They are sick to their stomach and are tonight thinking about the status of their program and negative 3 yards rushing today.

Kiffin is where he wants to be if not he would've went to Florida. Saban told Kiffin he can't accomplish just as much if not more without the craziness of a inbred fan base wanting to fire you if you go 9-3 on a bad year if injury's happen

If bama was his dream job LSU was right there. I think we're safe. I think he fits LSU better than Bama. But he wants a Natty. Until then I think he stays here barring something crazy happening. I think he wants to be considered one of the greatest CFB HCs so one May not be enough. Unless he wants to do something like Pete Carroll did and win one here and then try the NFL

That job is overrated. Any coach in this day and age would be smart to steer clear. Geographically, it isn’t a great place for recruiting. Whoever goes there will have to live in the shadow of Saban. The only reason these kind of posts are created is because of the unrealistic expectations Saban has created. LSU is a much better job objectively because it’s better geographically and has equal resources.

It’s awesome to have a coach again that others are envious of. Feels good man.

Kiffin ain’t going to Bama. Why would he? He’s better off in Louisiana from a recruiting perspective alone. Louisiana puts more players per capita in the nfl than any other state currently. You also don’t have an in state rival to contend with. I believe we would match financially what Bama offered. I don’t see the real incentive to go to Bama anymore with NIL the way it is and the transfer portal.

Correct! It blows my mind the way the media doesnt see this. Idiots say...he couldn't make the move until AFTER the playoffs. If he said, im not answering until after this year is over, insecure Ole Miss wouldnt have it, even if LSU would be willing to out up w that!

Leaving Tenn for USC at that time was a no Brainerd. At that time, the USC brand was top 5 in college football. Of course the young gun would want that!

He did wonderful things at FAU and then he pulled a video game dynasty rebuild in Oxford. Every time I look back at his track record it blows my mind. This LSU gig is the final coaching move you build your legacy around. I think he might leave for the NFL at some point, but not another school.

DeBoer’s buyout is higher than Kelly’s at $60M, and they’d owe us $7M on Lane’s buyout.

Bama ain’t spending $70M to get Lane Kiffin

Lane ain't goin nowhere. The gumps are stuck and they deserve it, Deboer is their Les Miles. They will be good, never great.

Only a retard thinks bama is firing Debeor buying his buyout and also paying Kiffins buyout for leaving to us and then paying Kiffin 15M a year

I don’t think Alabama would entertain Kiffin as a head coach. Cignetti maybe.

I mean it's warranted with Kiffin track record but I really think he's with LSU for at least the entirety of his contract

Tennessee was the closest thing he's had to be able to run a program with LSU's resources. USC was under sanctions.

Maybe he leaves for Texas or an NFL job in 5 years, but it'll be a hell of a ride.

I think Lane does not want to get fired again in his career. I think he knows that if he went to Bama, that he would deal with super unreasonable expectations. Deboer won 10 games this year and was SEC runner up and they want to run him out. Lane was fired on a tarmac and run out of Tuscaloosa once when his offense led them to a national championship game. It’s never enough for those people. I think Lane will find that LSU has similar resources but if he has a 9 win season or two, he’s good.
