i wanted him fired after ole miss 2009 and for sure after the natty where we quit and shite the bed on 1-9. at that point we knew he would win nothing of substance again. frick u alleva

Should have been fired when he used the Arkansas job when Jeff Long was AD there to get a raise and an extension out of LSU. Alleva should have called his bluff and let him go.

I’ve said for years Nick Saban owes that man a lot. I don’t think the average fan realizes just how much.
ETA: The infamous Tennessee timeout game was in 2010. Look at my handle — I hated les early & often… Felt like banging my head against a wall that decade. Defending him wasn’t frowned upon until relatively recently.

I hated that MF since he blew a 21 point lead at halftime to Tenn in TS the first game after Katrina.
