No! He desperately needs a win.
Nuss has to earn it, he didn't.

with our pitiful oline, Nuss brings a scrambling qb that can exit the pocket and throw on the move, and that may be the only way we will have any offense at all this year. If he doesn't play and play well, I can't see this team winning an SEC game this year. Wish it wasn't so, but this oline is pathetic.

Aren’t those the same reasons Max started the end of last year?

The difference this year is we are limiting Max from running and running no RPO. O wants the “Brady” offense, but I don’t believe he knows what that means.

Yes. He's started every game this season.

Problem is if we start Nuss then Max will be the backup and we’ll have to do it all over again

LOL!!!!

Isn’t this EXACT reason so many wanted Max instead of Brennan

Keep riding Max while getting Nuss in every game. Switch to Myles after open date and win out the season. Everyone gets developed and we finish top 10. The plan is obvious.

Max is still the starter as he should be. Look I’m excited about Nuss too. I love his arm and his legs but I love his moxie more. That being said, he’s still not ready to take over. Let’s give Max a couple more games to get in a groove before we wrote him off. He hasn’t exactly had the best chance to succeed with no OL or running game and getting hit 20 times a game.

For 9 months we have heard Max is the best QB in the SEC though. Because he was “mobile”.

Nuss looked good in his limited series but he threw into double coverage multiple times and went 3-10. Part of that was drops but playing QB is about moving the chains which he really wasn’t able to do.

He’s got a great deep ball though and seems pretty accurate.

He was 3/10 for 19 yds, while playing over a third of the game. WTH???

Nuss isn’t ready. People always think the backup is better when the starter struggles but the truth is nobody will get it done with the play of our OL.
