The Tiger Eye should be used only on the field. FWIW I think it looks terrible on shirts, hats, etc.

FWIW, you're the only person that I've ever heard say some stupid shite like that. It's one of the better logos in all of college sports.

FWIW, I agree with with him. I think it looks great on the field, but it is a bit much for hats, t-shirts, etc.

Will we EVER go back to the full arm striping?

No, and neither will UCLA, Indianapolis Colts, or anybody that uses the three shoulder stripes. They didn't shorten it because they thought it would look better. They shortened it because it simply works for the players comfort-wise.

Really? This is the best coach's polo we've ever had.

I'm with MightyYat... if the helmet had to change, the only thing I'd like to see is the Eye on either side.

I just don't care for it and I would never wear it. But that is just my own personal opinion. I prefer a more simple and basic shirt. I have a Cutter and Buck LSU golf polo I wear.

No the "UCLA stripes as they are called" went away when the sleeves went away on actual jerseys... and jerseys became as tight fitting as they are now.

well i guess everybody can find something to bitch about. I think it looks fine, its not like its an eye sore, and whats the big difference with not having the LSU on the front? its traditional? who gives two shits.

If we really are going to this it will ruin an old SWC/Big XII criticism I have espoused for years.
For the 27 years I have lived in Texas I have made fun of all of their conference members having the school name on the front of their jersey. I have laughed at them and said, "I guess they can't remember who they are or they are worried no one knows who they are."
So much for my argument that everyone knows who we are so we don't have to put our name on our jerseys.
I was always just kidding when I said this but I relly have always thought it strange that the old SWC teams all had the names on the front like this.

adding a small "lsu" above our numbers just looks poorly done and looks like something that doesn't need to be there

Correct.

WHAT'S THE POINT of adding something that small and insignificant to the jersey? We haven't heard a definite affirmative from G String yet......
