Loved WW and all he brought as far as his passion for LSU and knowing what the program can be. Hate that he wasn't smart enough to have protective walls around him.

I'm not one that wants to knight Woodard as the savior of LSU athletics. Mulkey was a good hire.
Kelly on paper is a good hire. Jay Johnson seems like he could be a good hire but we currently lack pitching....
But ultimately we don't know about Kelly and Johnson. You can be a good coach and not fit well in a program. We shall see.
I do believe that Wade was the right man for the job... but he got caught up in it all.

Too bad for him but he should not have done what he did, how he did it.
The more I hear about wade behind the scenes, the more I realize that Woodward could not wait to fire him for cause because if he could have fired him for being a douchebag, he would have done that sooner

I will always love that man. He could be coaching Bama in 5 years and I'd still love him.
He revived this shite arse program to what it was in the early 90s. 1st SEC title in fricking generations. 1st SEC Championship game since 19 fricking 80. Yet we act like he wasn't worth a shite.
He was sloppy as frick but IMO that shows his personal investment. Dude paid his OWN salary for players. That is being invested in the program, the school, the state, and yourself. fricking love him. We are gonna look back on this and be pissed one day especially considering Woodwards basketball judgement.
He didn't have the benefit of boosters or big money people who gave a shite about Basketball here. That's why he took it upon himself. He invested his own money. I bet K and Cal never did that shite.
I'm proud to have had him and I'm proud I bought season tickets before the 2018 season.
Love you Coach Wade. I will defend your success on this forum until the day I die. He was building something special. This is a damn full rebuild and we get the 6th seed. Unbelievable coaching job man.
The worst part is Woodward and Tates official statement. They literally posted that they were "exhausted from the never ending negativity." WHO frickING CARES what national writers think. They will always shite on LSU mo matter what and history proves that. It is about US and what we think not what the national pussies think and Woodward took the Alleva way out of being influenced by fricking hit pieces. Extremely disappointed. Woodwards hire better be a home fricking run because he will always be judged against Wade and what Wade did.
