Dae’Quan Wright, TE
Zxavian Harris, DT
Unpronounceable ND Edge

Considering: A federal appeals court ruled in favor of the NCAA by freezing a Colorado court's sweeping decision to grant all of the 2022 high school class members an additional fifth year of eligibility.

Now enter Co-Pilot:
Yes. A federal appeals court temporarily blocked (“stayed”) a Colorado federal judge’s earlier ruling that had granted an additional year of NCAA eligibility to Division I athletes from the high school class of 2022. The decision came from a 2–1 panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit.

What this means:

The Colorado injunction is no longer in effect while the appeal proceeds. Athletes who had regained eligibility solely because of that Colorado ruling are now considered ineligible again unless they have obtained separate court orders in other cases.
The appeals court has scheduled an expedited review of the case.
Other lawsuits in various states remain active, and some athletes covered by separate rulings are not affected by the Colorado stay.

The dispute centers on the NCAA’s newer eligibility framework and whether athletes who graduated high school in 2022 should receive another season after exhausting four years of competition eligibility.

Did our three (listed above) gain their eligibility as part of the Colorado ruling?

My guess is they'll be allowed to play while this thing sits in courtroom somewhere for most of the season.

No idea. You basically need a law degree to be a college football fan in 2026

I think the Notre Dame edge would be fine since he didn’t sign an NFL Contract or even attended camp

My guess is that they’ll draw the line at “signed a professional contract” so the ND guy, Texas OL, and the Indiana guy(s) (unsure if both didn’t sign anywhere) will be fine but the ole miss guys and/or others that signed a contract will be ineligible.
No idea about enforceability or any of that shite I’m not a lawyer, just my opinion

I believe he is 100% good to go, he did not sign with a NFL team and is not transferring within the SEC so he is good. That is my interpretation anyway

No idea about these two. They appear to be good but trying to read about the case makes my head hurt.

Personally I rather not add questionable players that could be viewed as ineligible later.

There should be enough players for Kiffin out there to avoid in this silly extra issue looming over our heads.

It’s cool to be the Villain but just to do it to stick it to the league and the NCAA seems to open up a can of worms that we might not like later in the game.

You piss certain people off a they come after you, that’s how life works.

Under the radar is not Kiffins style though, and I’d also like us to win again so I guess I’m in regardless, but I still have an opinion on all of it.

I care about RJ Luis more than the football guys. Basketball roster is not great without the “pros”

From what they're trying to push, it sounds like:

Dae’Quan Wright - NO
Zxavian Harris - NO
Junior Tuihalamaka - YES

My guess is that the SEC won’t let them play.

Wouldn’t we have to cut three guys from the program with these additions?
