Yeah, we’ve heard it already.

Shitty Alabama/South Carolina deserved it more.

BS! Who else deserved it? A 10-2 SEC team got destroyed in the first round. Bama, nope! South Carolina, nope! Iowa state, nope!

Agreed bama should have been in over both teams.

It’s obviously still flawed. A three seed being a 12 point underdog to a six seed tells me everything I need to know.

Boise State and Penn State were in a battle until 5 minutes in the game. They belonged more than any of the playoff games so far.

Not arguing for Bama or SC, but I do know that these little schools should not have been in the CFP. Both are in lopsided playoff games. You can't tell they don't belong.

Then I guess Michigan should have been in over Alabama

You gotta put someone in. If you’re not arguing for them, who do you put in?

Every year you’re going to have some mediocre teams get in. They should have expanded to 8 teams at most. Though, you would still have people bitching about who did and didn’t get in.

Alabama and South Carolina certainly didn’t prove otherwise.

Yeah the bowl games are meaningless and they aren’t the same teams they were a month ago but it really hurts the whole “we should be in/SEC is the best” argument when you lose to mid tier B1G teams come bowl season. BK would never thankfully.

Neither did Tennessee by this logic

What game are you watching? Penn State has dominated this game.

Most of the SEC beats Boise by 2-3 TDs. Most of the SEC beats Penn State by 10+.
Boise needs to go undefeated with two top 25 wins from now on just to get in.

Most of the teams didn’t deserve to be there. They should not have expanded to 12 teams. Everyone knew teams 7-12 would have no shot. Four teams was perfect. Just need to create 4 conferences of 10 teams each. You play everyone in your conference and 1 team from another conference. Team with best record is named conference champ and goes into 4 real playoff. If you aren’t one of the 40 schools in the 4 conferences, oh well, you would never be good enough to win national championship anyways.

Bama….who lost today to make it 3 losses this year to teams that had 7-5 or worse records…deserved a playoff spot?
