Went for 20 points and 3 assists tonight against the Spurs! Also had a pretty nasty breakaway dunk

Skylar is a hell of a ball player and showed what dedication and practice can do. When he started at LSU, he used to take all kind of dumb shots and couldn't finish at the rim. The NBA was a pipe dream for him.

By the time he finished at LSU he was one of the best finishers at the rim that I have seen at LSU and the fans absolutely loved him. One of my favorite Tigers.

Damn, Good for him,
thanks for the link.
Not having his presence on the team this year sucks, he was a glue guy

They were down 38 after 3 and ended up losing by 11, massive garbage time. But hopefully it shows he should get a shot at minutes.

Good for him and a good dunk. But what is with the flex after the dunk DOWN 13 with 40 seconds to go?

Did I read that right? Skylar Mays from the free throw line

He wasn’t going to play unless the game was decided. The bench scrubs gave a heck of an effort in the 4th and they are trying to pump up the team for the next game. I’d rather he play with energy and enthusiasm than mail it in. I have no problem with it.

The only minutes he’s been getting are when the game is decided. You play hard no matter what the score is, and showing some emotion after throwing down a nasty dunk is part of that. Absolutely nothing wrong with his reaction.

This guy is the absolute picture perfect example to follow. He worked as hard as damn near anyone and got so much better. He succeeded on the court, in class, and outside world and is an amazing example for our student athletes.

Congrats again Skylar, thanks for everything.

This is one of my all time favorite tigers across all sports.

As a long time BKB season ticket holder, it still irks me off that there wasn’t a full house for his senior night. For as much bitching people do about guys like Ben Simmons, they don’t seem to wanna support the guys on the other side of the spectrum as vigorously.

IMO pound for pound the most improved athlete in the modern history of LSU athletics from where they were Day 1 as a freshman to where they are now.

People fricking hated him his freshman year. Improved immensely under Wade. Love the dude
