I heard today the Pirates have like a 1.7% chance of making the playoffs now. I am going to assume that they just want him to work out his issues on the mound and get though the rest of the season healthy.

Verlander had 10 seasons pitching 200+IP by age 34. 238, 240, 251IP seasons.
