He knows the rules and he knows he’s targeting. trying to hurt them. Good riddance
I agree. At some point it isn't the coaches, but there are at fault for letting him play like that.

I hope he tries out for the NFL and they give him some nice hits to let him know that isn't ok.

I actually think this dudes a badass. Reminds me a little like Luke kechly with his prowess. He just can’t adapt his type of play to the new rules. He gone

Last year, they kept saying he comes from a family of hard hitting linebackers. I don't care where you come from but if you are playing the game with the intention to hurt someone, you should be banned for the season. Moreover, I think that NCAA should strongly consider tossing out douchebags like Skalski who can kill someone someday with these moves.

It wasn't helmet to helmet. He lowered the head and speared Fields in the side/back. Can't do that.

The guy doesn't learn.

Spot on and that is the thinking in evaluating whether this was targeting. Live motion, I didn’t think it was targeting and then the replay led me to the same conclusion you stated. Pretty easy call.

This. If he puts his face mask into Fields kidneys and short ribs, it is clean, he still plays, and Fields still aches tomorrow morning.

This wasn't targeting. Garbage.

Kid needs to learn how to tackle. Clearly was spearing, hitting with the crown of the helmet. Needed to be ejected to save himself from being paralyzed if nothing else.

Spearing has been penalized for years... Back in the day, players didn’t lead with their helmets. That shite started in the 80’s with cheap shot Ronnie Lott....

Targeting or not he is a selfish player because he is doing dumb things and getting ejected, when his team needs him on the field and not on the sideline watching his team mates get blown out.

What's the deal with the stupid collar? The backup came in and he had one? Is this the target collar?

That collar is why he hasn't broken his neck yet. I honestly think it is there for that purpose because he does the same shite each time he has a shot at the qb. That being said, he is the heart and soul of that defense. The LSU game changed after he went out. Clemson had no chance when he left. (Not that they were doing much while he was there.) But...you knew it was over at that point

I'm not sure how he isn't paralyzed by now the way he plays the position.

He does it when he knows they’re going to lose. Fields getting hurt was their only chance!
