We have three straight home games now.

Sat Feb 24 State
Tues Feb 27 UGA

I don't know if we can but if we can win 2 of those 3 we would be in a great position to win 5 of our last 6. If that happened we would end up 10-8 in SEC play and 18-13 for the regular season.

Hey, a guy can dream!

So we’re good now because we beat an extremely overrated opponent?

If wright finishes last game, then we are looking at back to back SEC road wins.

You guys refuse to admit that the basketball team was a rebuild & that they are clearly trending up. If we continue to improve through this year & recruiting picks up, I will be fully onboard the McMahon train.

All the trashing of this dude has been extremely lazy, they’re not as far off as most here believe — Just need a more complete & complementary roster.

Let’s say USC should really be #25. It’s still like a high handicapper all of a sudden breaking 70. This is a good win dude.

Dude, please stop. Youre pathetic. You dont make it this late in the season as a ranked team in basketball if you "aren't that good". They're a good basketball team.

While they probably aren’t as good as their record suggests, “extremely overrated” is a bit much. They are a good team and this is a great win (any conference road win is, at least, a “good win”). Does that mean LSU is a “good” team? Not quite. But every LSU basketball fan should be happy with this result

USC is a good team. But they’ve also had probably the most favorable schedule in the SEC. And as someone said above, the predictive metrics suggest USC is not as good as their record says

McMahon absolutely deserved his props for challenging this team and having them ready to fight for 40 minutes. We have three winnable home games the next week and a half. Let’s the chips fall where they may. McMahon is coaching his arse off though.

The typical rantards. If LSU loses they suck. If LSU wins the other team sucks. Morons.

You mean the first idiot to express it. Beat #11 on the road without your #2 scorer coming back from 16 down and this idiot says it’s because they aren’t that good.

Great win that the program needed. Results for all the hard work. Really like Coach MM. If he ever gets the personel he will be dangerous in the SEC. But that is a big if. Right now right this second he is on track considering what he started with. Next year is year three and right now we do not look better on paper. We will need to pull some talent to improve, so Coach MM will have to show that. For now enjoy the win and hopefully we can get close to 500 ball in the SEC play. Would be huge IMO with this team. Go Tigers!!!!

Is Ward our best and go to shooter now. We are better when he is shooting 3's instead some of the others.

Interesting those of you who can’t just celebrate the win without an argument over if McMahon sucks or not.

Would love to see LSU turn out a standing-room-only crowd on Wednesday night, and boogie like it's 1978 again!

How would that work out for postseason, if that were to materialize?
