There's not gonna be a season. Too many major teams (Alabama,Texas, Clemson) are having outbreaks and it's not going away.

Let the intelligent residents of Louisiana decide for themselves how to handle this situation.

public health and safety.

This is no longer a public health and safety issue. The hospitals are not overwhelmed, never were, and never will be.

This thing is a mild cold for anyone not old, fat, or dia-bee-tus riddled.

What we are talking about now is a purely political issue.

So yes we should, and will, be playing football in front of a full Tiger Stadium come September.

When the dust settles, (and it's starting to), the mortality rate for this "virus" will be proven to be no worse than any other virus we've had. Probably lower than most, just wait and see.

Maybe, but it makes up for that in how contagious it is. Ebola was just the opposite. 118,000 deaths in the US and counting (only 4 months in) is significant mortality in any circumstance. It didn't really get a foothold until the spring, missing the "flu" season. What do you suppose the incidence will be in late fall or winter?

Either open the stadium up 100%, or do'nt have any fans. Anything inbetween will be stupid.
You think students are goign to social distance in the stands?
You think i'm going to sit on the East Side in the sun, when i can walk around and sit on the West Side in the shade b/c there's open seats everywhere?
If people can find a way to get down from the upper deck, they will, b/c no one is baking up there while there are 30,000 open seats in the lower bowl.

100% or 0%, and it should be 100%

Hey bub the doctors have told us that people that have diabetes are at greater risk from Coronavirus that those who don't...I didn't just make that shite up....you should probably stay home to protect yourself and not go to the games.

You don't have to tell that shite I already know it. And know plenty of Type 1 Diabetics who have died from covid-19.

I said frick you, and gonna say frick you again because of your "dia-bee-tus" remark. fricking spell Diabetes correct and don't make my disease a joke punchline.

So LSU is supposed to implement social distancing and mask policies in the classrooms, dorms, and dining halls, but then turn around and let 100,000 people into Tiger Stadium?

Sorta like all the Democrat controlled Cities that shut down family owned businesses, churches, & only allowed 10 people at funerals, but turned around and embraced 100,000’s of protesters in their streets.

I signed it because I wanted to watch football

I didn’t really read it. I didn’t know how dangerous covid was. Now I lay here on a ventilator and wish I had not gone into Death Valley on that Saturday night to watch my Tigah’s beat the crap out of Flaming Rainbow State.

Now all I can do is sue them for being too exciting

ehh i would say no matter what happens you cant win in court against LSU on this waiver or no waiver

YOU chose to go tailgating
YOU chose to go into the game
YOU chose to take the chance of getting it considering the circumstances

Can you really prove when and how you got it?

Proving it as a simply matter of more likely than not, would probably not be nearly as hard as you seem to think it might be. The real solution for this is for the Legislature to grant immunity to the owner of venues who host such events. Then let anyone in who wants to attend.

This will not work. Each fan and every person they would possibly come in contact with would need to sign the waiver. You would also need to agree to quarantine yourself for 14 days.

1. Under no circumstances will there be 100,000+ for a game in TS under the current Covid conditions. That's true even iof LSU allows all tickets to be valid/sold. Many people will vote with their feet.

2. If you want a full season of college football, the best chance (apart from super effective meds or a vaccine) of that is games played in empty or almost empty stadia.

I’m fine with taking online classes 66% of the time while on campus as long as I can get into the football games and the bars are open. Not like there’s that much socializing in class anyway lol

Just a word of advice, one day you’re gonna be out of college and all your close friends will be married and you’ll regret not branching out more in college

The people deciding they want to be in TS are affecting the rest of the community if games cause increased spread. 15000 infected at the game could lead to exponential growth after they leave the game. That’s the consideration.
