Let the public decide if they want to be in Tiger Stadium on Saturdays. Any type of restricted attendance will be a nightmare.

People overestimate how binding a waiver can be.

Woodward said there were many who would take a bit of risk to see the tigers..........and should be allowed to.

So LSU is supposed to implement social distancing and mask policies in the classrooms, dorms, and dining halls, but then turn around and let 100,000 people into Tiger Stadium?

There's more to the university than football, in case you forgot.

If I'm a student, I'd certainly be wondering why I'm paying out the arse for Zoom classes while LSU packs Tiger Stadium.

ETA: The dirty little secret is that universities all over the country are pulling a massive bait-and-switch, telling students they are back to F2F classes when in reality they will be a 33% capacity due to social distancing policies. Yes -- 66% of instruction will be online. How you gonna look a student in the eye and tell them they have to pay a bunch of money for that, but packing the stadium full of people is fine because they "signed a waiver."

Makes zero sense logically, makes zero sense financially. Would be a great way to further alienate the students, who will already be pissed off and thinking withdrawal/transfer.

If I’m a student
I’m fine with taking online classes 66% of the time while on campus as long as I can get into the football games and the bars are open. Not like there’s that much socializing in class anyway lol

Final thought: Good chance LSU uses Google's new contact tracing app to perform health screens for ticket purchases. Just FYI.

Yeah, because your freedom to attend a football game is more important than public health and safety.
Let’s see. Pack 100k folks into a stadium so they yell and spread their spittle to others. Then let those folks go out into communities across the state to spread whatever they were exposed to, to an untold number of unsuspecting folks who didn’t risk or want to risk contracting the virus. frick their well being because you deserve to attend!

When the dust settles, (and it's starting to), the mortality rate for this "virus" will be proven to be no worse than any other virus we've had. Probably lower than most, just wait and see.

The games are for the students first. It keeps alums and fans connected to the school and each other, but students first.

Let the students sit on the west side. People/corporations with booths get to use them with percentage restrictions in place at time of the game. Could be 25% 50% 100% based on which phase we’re in at the time.

Immediate family members of players and coaches get to attend, too.

Regular ticket holders stay home or tailgate in parking lot of their favorite mall.

If at some point during season all restrictions are lifted then all ticket holders attend.

Yes, Lsu loses money. Yes, ticket holders have to sacrifice.

Who gets to decide after the game whether they hide in their houses or not because they don’t know when they’ll run into a ‘rona positive fan from the game?
