Lmao. You guys can't stand anything positive LSU and it bothers the hell out of you that the national media is recognizing LSU as a high probability to win a championship. This isn't sunshine pumpers hyping them...this is the experts in Vegas....but whatever helps you cope man....negas DO NOT like this...at all.

Can you blame them....les has done something Arkansas has never done...twice....winning the sec. It would mess up their streak.
You nega tigers are in a semi melt over this news. Its hilarious. How dare the national media and Vegas have positive information on LSU. Is Vegas sunshine pumpers? Lmao

we don't have a qb that can throw a slant, a screen or a touch pass. We don't have 12 guys that can block their 11 and Fournette will get hammered and declare and be grateful the les miles days are over. Sorry, but these people give teams 5 minutes a day and have no idea of the real problems LSU has. SORRY. not going to by that bridge.

I know right...wtf does Vegas know
Posted on 12/8/15 at 1:50 pm to tigercreole
yea, those Vegas odds are always accurate. In August 2015, the odds to win the NC were:
Clemson 30-1
Michigan St 25-1
Oklahoma 35-1
Auburn 12-1
Clemson 30-1
Michigan St 25-1
Oklahoma 35-1
Auburn 12-1

The best tenure in LSU history is not good enough in today's SEC West. It may not be fair but it's a fact.

It's all about trends anyway; we haven't had success like we used to since that national title game that we shouldn't speak of
If Miles were trending like his overall record at LSU the past three seasons I don't think most people would have much of a problem because we'd have another decent shot at a title on a four year cycle; as it is though a 10-win season is our ceiling and that's shades of Mississippi State if you ask me
Like it or not Miles will have one more year to try to right the ship but I'm not real confident he will

I can't speak for the others, but I believe the Vegas prediction reinforces the fact that our fan base is justified in having high expectations for LSU, and that we are not delusional to expect to compete every year for the SEC and playoff. It also reinforces the fact that multiple seasons of 9-3, 8-4 is below the standard of LSU football and we should not lower the bar for a coach who cannot exceed those records on a regular basis.

Those polls are worthless.
Those polls are worthless.

They were 2nd most likely in early November as well
If you're referring to the Committee that's not accurate. Their criteria calls for them to vote on who is the best and in what order, at the given moment. Their vote is not a projection if they follow their own rules. In fact, the week LSU came in as number 2, they were made underdogs going into Tuscaloosa.

This shite needs to stop.
LSU All-Time record — 731-388-47, .647
4th in the conference and closing on 3. UGA.
This is just under 8-4/season.
We've got a coach who was handed the reins to the most prolific era of the program and we're back to that average.
The 90's were an outlier, not an indication of where the program will end up if you don't hold on to a coach until he retires.

These odds are for the 2016 season. Our odds for winning the title at the begining of this year were no where near +800. Go back and look at the posts made on this board at the start of this season. Most people predicted we would go 9-3, 10-2, maybe 8-4. Bama and Ole miss are better teams this year. Next year different story. Every year is different. Goals and expectations are 2 different things.

Rickdaddy is exactly the problem.
Using fear of LSU's past to accept this current trend.
LSU has never once been as established as they are currently. They sign a top 5 recruiting class on the regular and even get #1 overall players now.. LSU puts more players into the NFL than any other team lately..
That goes to show the amount of talent that LSU is recruiting now that it is established.. If Miles (who is truly not an exceptional coach.. He was an average coach prior) can come to LSU and maintain.. why do people fear a new coach who may actually have in game adjustments.. and maybe even a better coach.
I don't see LSU doing any worse than the current trend, but I do believe the SKY is the LIMIT with LSU given the right amount of coaching/prep/and game day calling. LSU could have the exact type of run as any great program. They have the players to do so now.. They still do.. but you don't want to continue settling for 3-5 loss seasons out of the bad days of the past. Who knows how great we could have been all the while.. but losing 5 games last season, 3 games 2 seasons prior I believe, and another 3 loss season.. is no where near where we should be.

Unlesss Les gets his hands off the offensive game plan it will be the same usual losses. Teams have gotten the Secret formula to stopping or containing LF.
