Naz helped propel the Minnesota T-Wolves to the NBA playoffs last night with 8 points off the bench in a win over tClippers (they won by 5).

this post is quite random. Reid averages 8 points per game this season, so this game isn't extraordinary.

Who is the OP?

He wasn't supposed to play much but got extended minutes with Towns in foul trouble. Timberwolves were +17 with him on the floor that game.

yea, I remember.

But he scored his average in this game, and it's not like he hit a game-winner. And the Timberwolves had already locked up the 7th seed in the playoffs before this game, with no hope of moving up to 6th or falling to 8.

I'm not getting the meaning of the OP. Again - very random.

No, the game last night was part of the NBA play-in tournament to be admitted to the playoffs.

This game was literally for the 7th seed. If they lost they would have to play another game for the 8th seed or get eliminated from the playoffs

got it - I missed that part.

But still, Reid's point production was average in this game. Not getting the meaning of the OP.

If he'd gone for 20 points, then yea, hell of a game worthy of a shout out.

But he hit his average. I'm not getting the extra love.

(and FWIW - I really like Reid)

Dude, there is more to basketball than scoring. Idiots football fans. Dude wasn't suppose to play much at all and was thrust into action because of KATs foul trouble and provided very good minutes +14 while he was on the floor. Without his play last night the T-wolves would have lost the game.

Second best former tiger in the NBA behind Simmons.

I'm wondering if Naz will try and get out from KAT's shadow the first chance he gets. Simply because minutes really aren't there. He only saw 30+ minutes three times this season, but in those three games he averaged 19.6 pts and 9.3 rbs on 51% shooting.

He is one of the best backup bigs in the league. Very solid player. LSU don’t really have any guys in the league who were any good at all this season, besides Naz.

You'd have been better off giving a shoutout to Javonte Smart for scoring 20 points for the #1 Seed Miami Heat in a meaningless game Sunday against Orlando that allowed the Heat to rest 9 of their regular 11 rotation players.

Simmons is second best former tiger on the Brooklyn Nets.
The best would be Cam Thomas who has actually played in games for them.

Cam will be good one day, but this year he was Very Ineffeicnt on offense and of course horrible defensively.
