Show needs someone with personality to replace Tbob. How many times can someone listen to Jake say I’m a meathead and them talk about the 2007 football team?

Its definitely a different show. They need to find their footing.
The "just talk sports people" will be happy but its definitely not as entertaining.

Why, because he's telling the truth???
I love Jake and Flynn but T Bob was the entertainment that kept the show interesting and not just straight reminiscing about things from over a decade ago.

Flynn is actually really funny! Their producer Taylor brings good energy when he fills in to host, just not on T-Bob’s level of funny. The girl on there F’n sucks though!

As someone who plays a raging douche on a message board, I feel I’m able to say this out of love, Flynn’s “humor” comes off really douchey on radio

I was sad to hear Tbob was leaving, but now the show does go a lot smoother. I miss Tbob as a character but he really didn’t know anything about sports. I think the change was the right move for him

I tuned out pretty quickly this morning. TBob is obnoxious, but he was the life of that show for me.

If “life of the show” means insufferable douche, you’re right. Nobody remembers t-bag white knighting for that awful radio guy in NO who sent a homophobic message to himself, then blamed “intolerant people” on it. Even after he was found out, t-bob still defended the guy? I’m so glad he’s not in this market anymore.

Eh both might be good for different reasons.

Agree
I love Hester as a person, but he's just not a great lead/host for a show. I've never met Flynn, but it seems like he's a great person as well and obviously, I love his days as a tiger, but it's just not that good right now. Maybe it'll get better as they settle in some more, as I believe this is Flynn's first time doing media as a full time job. I think it'd be better if they eventually let Flynn be the lead.
That said, I haven't listened in a while and felt t-bob went a little overboard sometimes and could be obnoxious as hell, but at least he had that vibrant personality to be a good host. Hester is just kind of meh.

I would bet if someone took the time they could go through every recording of this show since hester came in and there wouldn't be a day that he's in the seat that he did not find some way to reference his playing days
