I think she is really coming into her own. At the beginning of the year she looked like a baby giraffe running down the floor but it appears that she has done a lot of work in the gym. I think she ends up becoming a dominant player for sure

I think we will see alot more aggressive play out of her next year.. she’s still learning the ropes of the college game as a freshman which is to be expected… kudos to her…

I love watching her play. And keep in mind--she was a highly touted recruit. Kim has her here for a reason. I think Del Rosario will be a big part of our future.

Did we watch the same game? She stood underneath the glass on D and did not fight for rebounds. The SC center was dominating down there. On offense, she would stand at the stop of the key (was a play call, I know), but its because they just want her out of the space to make room for other players. Essentially down a player on offense and a liability on D.

She is getting better every game. As Flau'jae said "she's a big ole teddy bear and she needs to get mean". Aneesa mentioned that she would sometimes cry during practice because she is not used to the toughness and being "mean" on the court. She has tremendous upside. Can't wait to see her develop.

Apparently not. In the game I watched, Del Rosario blocked 3 shots, affected a couple of others, and got in the way of Cardoso as best she could. Was she perfect? Not even close. But give the kid a break. South Carolina has really good players who have a little more experience.

Sounds like a pretty good idea to me...clearing out the middle for our drivers.

7 rebounds in 17 minutes. But you’re right, she didn’t fight for rebounds against 6’7” Cardoso, who has 8 rebounds in 32 minutes.

Not sure what you were watching. She had 3 blocks, 7 rebounds going up against the best center in women's basketball. Even Dawn Staley gave her props.

I think her weight is fine if she has the stamina to play 30 minutes.

She reminds me of Darius Days, who had terrible body control his freshman year. Improved every year and was great his senior year.

Exactly. Watch her run down the court- her weight is fine. She looks more naturally athletic running the court than Angel does.

She held her own as a FR against a SR and likely the best C in the country. Can't believe some people are shitting on her. You can't expect her to handle Cardoso in that situation.

This makes it even more amazing that in the time she was in, 16:49, (less than anyone who played except Poa) she managed to lead the team in blocked shots (3), was 3rd in rebounds (7 which is 1 fewer than Reese who had 8 in 28:41), tied for offensive rebounds.

She should have received much more playing time all season long.

Some of y'all need to go watch Rosario during those all star games last summer and where she is now, not even close to the same person. She will take off year 2 with another full offseason of development and strength/conditioning.

But she has now gotten herself to a point where she can come in and produce off the bench lately in SEC play.

And yes she had struggles vs Cardoso who is a senior. But Rosario was facing the #1 team in the country, this is as tough as it gets for her, she will get better from this

If not mistaken, Cardoso was scoreless in the first half. Point being, even great players, seniors, have rough court times.

She was rarely in a defensive position. Standing upright. Never saw her fighting to get around in front of Cardosa on the block on defense. Those are fundamentals she must improve on or she won’t see the floor much. She’s a freshman so she has time to get better.

We watched those games and she was bad, tall was all. I thought mulkey had lost her mind getting her. The more she plays, the better she gets. Love watching her grow.

She doesn't bring everything that Angel brings, at least not yet, unless her offense significantly improves, probably not ever. But her defense is just going to get better and better and she can bang around under the rim with the biggest and baddest.

I am looking forward to her career at LSU.
