re: Smoking Ribs Tips
Posted by DemTigers7 on 5/28/25 at 2:13 pm to Bert Macklin FBI
I see a lot of people commenting doing 3-2-1 method at 225. That method is fool proof. If you like fall off the bone ribs, then do that. I like mine with a little bit of a bite. I don't want everything falling apart when I am holding it. I do a modified version of that method. I do 3 hr unwrapped, 1 hr wrapped in butcher paper, and 0.5 hr unwrapped with BBQ sauce on the ribs. I run the grill at 250-275 F.
Couple tips: 1) use butcher paper instead of foil. Butcher paper will preserve the bark better. 2) I mix a little apple cider vinegar and the dry rub seasoning with the BBQ sauce of choice. Brush this mix on the ribs when you start the last 0.5 of the cook. The sauce will glaze over and make the ribs sticky without just being covered in sauce.

Sherburne WMA Lottery Duck Hunt
Posted by DemTigers7 on 10/1/24 at 9:42 am
Any ever hunted this area for the Sherburne WMA Lottery Duck Hunt? I won this year and got assigned this area. Any tips for this plot?
I am assuming the big water on the edges are deep ditches and not walkable (no boats allowed), but looking for any tips on decent spots in this area (see area marked on image).

Did we watch the same game? She stood underneath the glass on D and did not fight for rebounds. The SC center was dominating down there. On offense, she would stand at the stop of the key (was a play call, I know), but its because they just want her out of the space to make room for other players. Essentially down a player on offense and a liability on D.

Shared Leases for Duck Hunting
Posted by DemTigers7 on 7/12/23 at 2:10 pm
Anyone have any luck with "Shared Leases" for duck hunting? I saw this company online (LINK and figure its not worth it, but wanted to see if anyone had a good experience with something like this.
From what I have read, you pay for a blind (up to four people per blind) and call in before going hunting. They send you the location of the blind available.

Camp is on Bayou Petit Gaillou. From the sound of it, we should just try right off the dock.

Going with the inlaws to Chauvin for a weekend to hangout for a birthday. They want to go crabbing, but not familiar with the area.

so in the withdrawal tab it says:
Remaining wagering Sport:$50.00.
in the bonus activity tab it says:
(under wagering process) $270 out of 300 on Sports Bets and also $0 out of 20 on Sports Bets.
I have one open bet of $50 on the superbowl that I made on friday.
Should I let that bet on the superbowl close or should I place a new $50 bet? I am trying to collect the bonus winnings as well as my cash winnings (both are current locked in the withdrawal tab).
So it looks like the bonus winnings expire in 7 days (so before superbowl)..Does this mean I should place a new $50 bet that will close before the 7 days?
*UPDATE*
I placed a $50 bet on the late NCAA Basketball game last night (on the under and won..). After that bet closed, all of my bonus balance now showed up in cash balance. I withdrew the money. I received an email stating that my withdrawal request has been submitted and is pending approval. I will update in a few days.
PS. I used the $300 in bonus sign up money to bet on bengals game (all kinds of bets) and won around 1100. I placed a $20 deposit in my account and bet that on a boosted odds bet and won $60. I then used $50 of that $60 real cash to place a $50 bet to meet some requirement on Caesars in order to withdraw all the money (bonus and real).

So should I wait for my $50 bonus money bet on superbowl close or should I do a new $50 bet with cash? Does odds mater on these bets?
