Should we expect more designed runs for Elusive Etling?

Scrambling Danny seemed to make a few plays with his feet vs. Florida. In 3rd and 5-6 situations, do you think Air Canada would let Danny run some draws? Actually, that might be better than him throwing the ball.

Etling = Lamar Jackson

He's about to run all over Auburn, baws. Get prepared.

He's not that slow.
He's pretty fast considering we don't run him too often.

He can easily get 10-20 yards if he sees the hole, as seen against Florida.

Danny isn't elusive. He looks for the 2 biggest defenders and yells "I am the bull god" and charges.

Don't hate. It worked very well against the gators. I don't see us featuring him on as many designed plays for this game

It's the coaches' not so subtle way to get Brennan on the field without controversy after Etling gets targeted (not called of course) for the nth time.

Him running reminded me a lot of what Syracuse’s qb did against us. Slow as hell, yet somehow manages to slip a few tackles and just barely get the first down. Would be really annoying to watch if you were a fan of the other team.

Yes, we cant execute a screen, we may as well use designed QB draws and bootlegs to see if we can slow down a good AU line.

This was my strategy in throw back tackle. You could time me with a sun dial, a man has to work to his strength.

DE is a better runner than most give him credit for. Problem is he needs to complete the passes that the defense is giving him. When this happens we can beat times with a decent defense.
