The Rant spends a strange amount of time clowning Clemson and Dabo yet they’re afraid to play them. If that isn’t the Rant in a nutshell lol.

This is an ideal OOC schedule for LSU moving forward: All OOC games @ home except home/away with a mid to bottom tier P4 opponent (or home/neutral) which helps recruiting. It could look something like this:

SELU/NW St./McNeese- FCS opponent
ULM/USM/USA/TX St.- G5 opponent x2
Houston/NC St./Wake Forest- P4 Opponent

The Alabama AD is lashing out because they expect to be judged differently than everyone else and they didn’t get their way this time. Nothing more or less.

Ole Miss has a problem of scheduling all cupcakes and averaging 60 points a game then they come to Tiger Stadium and their dream season unravels.
They never test themselves with a slight threat.

Your next three games are against sun belt type opponents. Sounds like you guys are ready to join the sunbelt. Mercy.

And the AD is talking about their OOC schedule?
I think he is talking about if SMU had to play Bama's entire schedule, not just OOC.

Bama guy is saying that Bama already have a tough conference slate, why make it harder with a P4 team OOC...

Each season is different from the year before. Going into the season Florida has the worse stretch of games at the end of the season. UGA, Texas, LSU, Ole Miss, and FSU. Nearly every "expert" said Florida will probably go 0-5 or 1-4 at best and Napier would be fired.

Florida foes 3-2 and if Lagway does not get injured might have beaten UGA. Play against a good team. Win and move on. Better to be tested to play against top competition in SEC and potential CFP than not.

Yet he’s only talking about OOC. He’s searching for a better way to say “but we’re Alabama and should be in” and is being nonsensical as a result.

Cancel? No, that's a complete pussy move. We agreed to it, don't go back on your word.

Reassess OOC opponents in the future? Yes

It's so weird. Both fanbases sound the same right now.

Absolutely not

We can address what our OOC schedule looks like moving forward but backing out of a game like this looks weak

if LSU was in Bama's shoes, the meltdown would be epic, and I would hope any LSU fan would be pissed.

SMU deserved to be in based solely on the fact that they were 3 spots ahead of Bama going into the weekend...but the real debate is should that have been the case?

Playing Clemson gives nothing of value to LSU.

The SEC along with the Big10 should focus on bringing under their control the other former power 5 conferences containing weaker teams. Consolidated scheduling between the SEC and Big10 should prohibit their members from playing these lesser, former 'equal' teams in the near future until this playoff team picking fiasco gets legitimized and corrected.

Losing to Vandy and Oklahoma is not good for Alabama football. Whiney, entitled little bitch.
