If we've learned anything about how post-season in college baseball works it's that it's a reset button quite often. It's like a new season and many times young clubs struggle in it. It's a lot of guys first trip to Hoover. First time starting in the SEC tourney. It's very difficult to succeed first time out.
A lot of teams that are successful and make post season runs are seasoned. This team will look a little like they're starting over in the post season. Let them get their feet wet. This was never going to be our year to advance very far. Next year we should go further.
