SEC this morning

Used to have respect for Doering and Burns. But holy crap are they just Sankey puppets.
Doering saying the SEC is a brotherhood and how we all cheer for one another etc etc. and it’s sad what lsu and its fans are doing.
What kind of freaking fig mentality is that? They constantly push this narrative that the sec is one big happy family. Couldn’t be father from the truth. In the 2000’s sure we were bc sec schools weren’t being considered to be in the natty. But those days are long gone.
Find it hard to believe a former gator player under spurrier is gonna be rooting for Tenn and uga this weekend. You ain’t fooling anyone doering.

Yes I can too my friend. But it’s true the conference as a whole was being overlooked during that era until 2006/2007 when us and UF destroyed Ohio state. But auburn got screwed in 2004 and had we not beaten bama in 2005 good chance they don’t play in the rose bowl even if they finished undefeated.

Bad wording I guess. But There were instances in the early 2000’s where sec teams weren’t taken seriously or being left out (us in 2003 and Aub in 2004). That’s what I was referring to and those cases did unite sec fans, for a little while.

This mindset is so lame. Screw the SEC. I never root for Other SEC teams. I hope they all fail and lose everything.
Doesn’t matter who they’re playing. I’m not pulling for them. Any success they have is a threat to LSU so nope.

Thought it was interesting—Burns had some very pro LSU tweets regarding the case last two weeks, and was getting hammered by Lane/LSU haters in the comments. He started trying to defend himself and it got worse. He’s probably never gotten that much hate online before lol.
He’s just backtracking now because he realized he can’t be seen as that much of an LSU homer working for the Sankey network.
