Then it shouldn’t have been a penalty at all because it wasn’t late. It isn’t possible for that to be roughing the passer because of contact to the head (per the white hat’s call on the field) without it also being targeting.

Same ole stuff. Too much money at stake for a UGA/Gump SECCG. No way LSU is going to make it to atlanta. Honestly, no way LSU beats any good team with this defense.

Those calls are just not made against Bama, especially in Tuscaloosa.

F**k the SEC. They will always protect Bama regardless of how egregiously bad the officiating.

you're just not going to be allowed to play a fair game against an annointed opponent in college football. once tv figures out the ratings champs, the refs make sure that the underdog doesn't have a chance.

and i'm not spouting sour grapes. both of our losses to florida state and ole miss were called pretty cleanly. refs don't get everything right, but you look for consistency.

i've finally had enough. we'll get a cleanly called game against florida because it means nothing, unless, of course, the betting gets too one sided.

the only way you get a clean game is if you have a powerhouse of a team, can win it all, and will draw ratings. in that case, of course, you may get the calls. the only interest i have left in this season is which team gets the preferred treatment in the SEC championship. if the controllers think you have to be undefeated then Georgia will not be allowed to lose. However, if a one loss sec champ is a sure thing, i bet that it's alabama's turn.

Ole Miss can't hold up to Georgia, but if they are threating watch for the phantom call against ole miss on a big play or the no calls on Georgia. it's a fix.

The depth of the corruption in this conference really is a sight to behold. I'm not surprised they are denying it.

Cmon dude. Did you really think they were gonna go against their sweet heart? Danielson would have straight up fainted in the booth on live TV if that would have been Milroe.

It wasn’t the hit that bothered me. It was the wrap up and driving him to the ground that pissed me off. Targeting or not it was a dirty hit.

If one of our guys hit Milroe like that he would be arrested by Alabama State police at the game, charged with assault and battery and banned for the rest of the year,if not permanently.

The SEC is trying to change the narrative around this. It has gotten a ton of negative press, as they allowed someone to tee off on a Heisman candidate quarterback with no repercussion, in the era of “player safety”. They have been spinning HARD since the game concluded.

The prolonged facemask on Dart was Exorcist-like. very lucky he didn't destroy his neck in that.

You can disagree all you want but the head ref announced it as contact to the head and neck, it was called because of that not because it was late.

It wasn’t late? OK, then it was unsportsmanlike conduct. Driving him into the ground. Unnecessary roughness. He should have been ejected right then.

It was just like the hit on LF7 a few years back was spearing. I am not sure why anyone is surprised with SEC protecting Bama's win.

That was a dirty play and Dallas Turner is a dirty football player. One of these games some OL is going to take him out after a one of his cheap shots.
