Still don’t like the lack of context media drama:
Apply for NCAA extension
….wait and no decision
No option but to declare for NFL
…didn’t get drafted and still no decision
No option but to try out for NFL as UFA
…didn’t make team - got cut / NCAA approval decision
Of course, align with NCAA approval and play another year
We’re used to it but it’s what we have to go through here at LSU

Disappointed. After the hype, I expected better.

So LSU and other major college football teams AREN'T hiring mercenaries whether they be NFL rejects or 31 year old college football players on their rthird team......like Darian Mensah......and Sam Leavitt? Thank goodness we haven't found another TJ Finley who went 5 for 6.

Oh, so this out of an overriding sense of justice to wronged souls? So what's to stop each and every UDFA with some eligibility left since 2020 from showing up demanding to be able to play because they took a stab at the NFL and it did not work out?
Why not say to Jamarr Chase that if he runs into contract issues that we have his back. At best you could construe him as a 3 out of 4 yr player....although in reality he only actively played 2?
Why can't we extend this to 4 year types who left after 3 years to chase NFL glory?

What is inaccurate is that when the PRO PLAYER pulls up in his Benz, they should’ve had him pull in next to the current starting college player’s Benz, Hummer, Lamborghini, etc.
