I'm sure ESPN would be fine with FSU or Miami replacing us.

LSU’s brand dwarfs both of theirs.

Miam or FSU in the SEC with the SEC exposure would do just fine, especially Miami. It would take a few years but the SEC would lose a lot less than what LSU would lose leaving the SEC

It seems like LSU would have a claim for detrimental reliance or something along those lines, especially if we never roster the players.

We relied on the contractual agreement of being in the SEC for purposes of our finances and marketing our own media rights. To expel us with essentially no warning and immediately cease payments would kick us out of the TV agreement that was negotiated on our behalf, in which we gave the SEC authority to negotiate under the assumption we could rely on those payments going forward. We obviously did not engage with other conferences or attempt to market our own rights because of our agreement with the SEC and the other schools.

I have a hard time imagining they would
Kick us out Thursday without thinking all of that through.

You don’t get NIL deals to enroll in a school. You get them to play a sport.

And if LSU went independent who would play us?

Schools aren’t going to do that if CFP doesn’t reward strength of schedule. Notre Dame damn sure wouldn’t schedule us. We’d be stuck with playing more cupcakes.

Bolt to the PAC 12. They have nine teams and would welcome a 10th. Might just entice a few other major programs to join that conference.

Stankey is still smelling the sweat of Tony Clayton’s ballsack being dragged all over his face last week.

Listen to me. I am an unabashed Aggie. I also live with and have a whole family of Tigahs. I will tell you my opinion that is based in some fact and some speculation on what is happening on the SEC side (no sauces on SEC side).

First, I am a huge non-Sankey fan. But what I believe to be their grievance is:

1. Kiffin desired to roster a couple of players that had declared for the draft and attended some form of camp. I won't elaborate the detailed points plus or minus here or whether there was merit or not.

2. There may be evidence that Kiffin contacted the NFL to determine whether certain players would be waived. See Todd Monken's statements.

3. Kiffin may have encouraged certain players to seek injunctive relief in Louisiana courts to gain eligibility for another year of NCAA eligubility. SEC may have evidence.

4. There appears to be alignment on playing of aforementioned players from BOS, President, AD, and Kiffin on aforementioned players.

5. Kiffin waited until midnight to release a roster for the following game.

6. I believe a 3rd Party convinced LSU not to roster those players (specifically the TE).

7. Kiffin statements. Not sure if there is an issue here.

I believe all but #6 is relevant to the amended suit.

I don't think it is pretty. However, I am under the belief this isn't an issue with terminating LSU from the conference. Pretty confident in that.

I have no clue what the SEC intends to do. Whether that is a penalty or otherwise.

You can shoot or downvote the messenger. My intent isn't harm to you. Heck I can't wait for 9/26!

the dellenger tweets are clear fear mongering but what's even more annoying is "an SEC president told me the following" Well this guy is an SEC president and seems passionate that LSU broke a rule of some sort....but he's too big of a pussy to put his name next to the quote and own it? OK

They voted against us twice already. What do you mean you need proof? Have you not been following this from the beginning?

This is absolutely a clown show. Sankey is showing the world his hate for Kiffin and his little man syndrome to be in full control. The reality is LSU didn't roster the players, finally humbled themselves and in my opinion pushed the narrative for the players to the right limit, going to court - then done the wise things and not bring a negative into the season and the team took care of business. The SEC can't figure out how to slow LSU down so now this. I call bullshite.

Looking at social media, fans of other SEC schools are delighted by this. Which is odd to me. If this witch hunt was happening to another SEC school, I'd be appalled. And I hate every other SEC school.
