That has been disproven.

Sure our D was loaded but nearly half of the O starters were 3 star guys and many of our 4 star starters on O hadn't played very much.

This wasn't my opinion. This was put out by 24/7 recruiting rankings.

The 3 teams with similar talent, a&m, Florida and Auburn all have less talent on both side of the ball than LSU.

Ben....poor poor Ben.

First, I didn't say I wanted to be part of Chicken's Army.

Second, it was your pal Tillman who claimed that Chicken's Army was a group of people here to just stir the pot, because Chicken hates LSU.

Third, I told you that you should go find the post yourself if you thought I was making it up. Apparently you aren't capable, so I went find one of them. It took 10 seconds.

That is just one of about three of them, directed at me.

Who is the liar now Ben?

Orgeron cost us the game at Texas A&M (sitting on that lead late in the 4th with his chickensh_t 3 runs and a cloud of dust), which was enough for me to drop his grade down to a B+.

So LSU isnt looked at as having a subpar coach anymore like we were with Miles?

You are. If you think that disproves anything you're lower IQ than I thought. I'd say that you're in the 65 to 70 IQ range. I bet that you can barely tie your shoes.

Ben, this is an honest question.

Do you wake up each morning and make a goal for yourself to try to be dumber than the day before?

It sure seems like it. And you are doing a really good job of it, although you may be quickly moving out of space to get any more stupid.

Saban lost to ULM. Should he never receive an A?

Probably accurate.

Very few mistakes other than a particular personnel decision...

So nice not to have to worry about whether the HC is wearing his watch...

Saturday Down South gives him an A-, so by all means LSU needs to extend his contract.

Use the recruiting rankings to gauge the guys that play.
Counting 4 star kids who left the program or who sit the bench makes no sense.

Look at the kids who play on our O and tell me our offense has over average SEC talent. Most are average at best right now and none are elite.

Agree completely. I will preface by saying I was not a fan of the hire at all, I was actually pretty pissed about it at the time. But in fairness I won't give a grade until recruiting is done and we see if there are any coaching changes.

Based strictly on the team's performance this season, Id give a B+. Way better record than I thought we would have, but getting shut out for the 2nd time in 3 years against Bama hurts. I will say there was dramatic improvement in special teams except punt returns which still baffles me that he kept Giles in all year. But to his credit I have not seen any straight up boneheaded coaching decisions like we used to see, better clock management, and better overall game management.

I'd give him an A for recruiting so far if he keeps everyone we have and would bump to A+ if he can close on 2 or 3 legit DL.

Final grade will be if there are any coaching changes this offseason. Doesn't have to overhaul it, but adding a solid WR coach who can recruit (Tee Martin), and someone that can help with offensive scheme, maybe Salisbury. A new OC is what we really need but I'm not holding my breath for it and we could do a lot worse than E.

I call foul. Maybe a "B" but an "A" is way too high. If the Tigers had held serve vs. A&M maybe so, but right now no A.

Losing to Troy is, IMHO, the benchmark of bad coaching by a Power 5 Conference program. Orgeron, by this metric, is no good as a head coach. Neither is Scott Frost, or Gary Pinkel, or Mike Gundy. They should have all been pinkslipped after such a loss.
