To lose more money ? Has WBB turned a profit since she’s been here?

Is the goal to make a profit or is the goal to win rings?

Joe Dean wouldn’t have found Saban in the bottom of a glass of Scotch. Saban had Sexton reach out to let them know he was interested

Well in the revenue sharing/NIL era for revenue losing sports, I’d say the goal is to minimize losses. Unfortunate, but that’s the reality of college sports today.

hell Joe himself has said he wanted to give Gerry one more season. Luckily, we had a president that could see the forest from the trees

The donors are the ones pissed at Woodward they have to pay his buyouts they don’t want him involved anymore. It is that simple The governor answers to the donors

Was he high when he hired the Burger King? That guy is not getting another coaching gig just like CEO. I mean WTF? These payouts are not helping the program. The roster is shite, the staff, all of it is shite. Who is running things? Scott Woodward?

Absolutely not

He's fat and needs to have nothing to do with any more coaching hires

This really doesn’t exist anymore. He won the West his first year because the West was down and he found Jayden Daniels. With the portal, you can build up in a year and lose everything in a year.

He didn’t win enough, which is all that matters.

And even those complaining about basketball have to understand Woodies plan for an Arena is huge. He is making it happen, the Governor is Politically Motivated and ridiculous…and I’m far from a Democrat.

And the ceo of the development company he had selected is currently under indictment over the Texas arena. It goes to show his shitty decision making doesn’t stop at overpaying coaches.

This is such a sad challenge…what role does Woodward play in football operations that brings in MILLIONS based on not one effort of his own yet his terrible negotiating “skills” have us on the hook for 1/20th of a BILLION dollars to a dang, petulant Yankee Leprechaun?!?

Scott Woodward is like anyone else. He has made good decisions and he has made bad decisions. I will say that he has made a bad decision in the revenue sharing by not giving baseball more $ when that is the most successful sport we have right now.

Saying BK was a solid hire is misleading. Woodward got way too involved after the '23 season and honestly set a lot of things up for failure. All hires are a risk but when you offer that kind of contract you better be right. It was the wrong decision and here we are.

Rightly or wrongly you are mainly judged based upon the Football Coaching hires as an AD. He approved and/or hired multiple good Coaches across other sports but he has also gotten too close to the football operations and his decision on the revenue sharing was a bad one. I don't think he should be fired but if you know everything at play its not surprising why hes likely not going to be retained.
