I guess you know them personally. You are just making stuff it up.

Scott has down a solid job, but he is in jeopardy now with Landry sticking his nose where it does not belong!

No politics in athletics!

I left it off because I didn’t feel like jumping into the will Wade debate with the “HE CHEATED” crowd

I agree. I’ll be very frustrated if we let Woodward go, another big time athletic program will scoop him in up in no time

Joe Dean found Saban…that’s it

Joe Dean found Archer, Pat Sullivan (but too cheap on the buyout), DiNardo.

He told Emmert he could get Saban for less than the agent ask. Fortunately Emmert took over.

It’s like we can’t get out of our own way. We begged for him to come here for years.

Joe Dean would have low balled Saban if Emmert didn't step in. Emmert was the best President.

Yeah now we are going to have some random good ol’ boy gumps on a committee to hire a coach.

I have very little faith in a good hire after today

Skip was a great coach but a cheap AD

Wasn’t he supposed to be temporary because the board was pushing Moreau to be the AD while Saban and Emmert wanted an outsider (maybe someone at Kentucky at the time). So Emmert pushed someone the board couldn’t refuse over their guy with the plan to hire who he wanted in a couple of years. Then Emmert left and later Saban left while Bertman stuck around.

Joe Dean didn't find Saban. Mark Emmert made that hire.

Scott was a good AD for the most part. I don’t disagree. The Kelly hired turned out to be a bad hire. At the time it appeared to be a good one, but Kelly wasn’t fully committed as far as his drive and work ethic. In general he was a terrible fit. These are all things that Woody is responsible for seeing. He isn’t bigger than LSU. He doesn’t have a “right” to hire another LSU football coach especially when he screwed up his last 2 head football coach hires.
