should’ve extended Wade as Kansas did with Self and ridden it out.

I feel like we could've done that but we had the football investigation going on at the time. They knew if they rode it out, more snooping would've happened and they didn't want that. They sacrificed basketball to save their cash cow.

He’s coaching D1 basketball again already. It’s not like they caught him on anything major.

And the one that’s not (yet) is still and always will be light years better than that 0 that was here previously. And you will always be 0’s dikc rider. No one around here takes anything you say seriously.

I think a lot of people feel he screwed over LSU basketball and bent the knee to the NCAA when he probably didn’t need to. Other programs ignored the NCAA and it worked out for them. Did he do it to protect the football program, which had some issues at the time too?

What exactly did he get caught doing? You ever read the final IARP report (not the Notice of Allegation)? What they actually cited him for was very mild.

You're right. He did what everybody else did! The one thing that everybody forgets is that Wade LIED to his 2 bosses! He's not coming back!

Most fans do feel that way and rightfully so. The playbook was exclusive and well written which every other program used except one, LSU. That’s why I believe most fans are even more upset about the situation today. Let’s be real honest here, with Wades popularity coupled with the teams success, a new AD looking at the situation objectively understands this was a small obstacle in the road and standing up for the head coach is best for the program. Unfortunately, Woodward chose to make it more about himself and possibly the couple short days of having to read a negative sports article from Yahoo sports.

He chose wrong because he didn’t spend the necessary time to understand the strong player/head coach relationship and the fan/head coach relationship dynamic that was established prior to him even being named AD. What’s worse is maybe he did understand all this and did it anyway. Either way he deserves all scrutiny he’s receiving right now for basketball.

Wade was given every chance to come forward and tell his side. By not doing so, and hiding behind lawyers, the admins had no choice. Wade quit on his team by refusing to speak.

Woodward was itching to get rid of Wade. He did so. Look where it has gotten the program.

When Wade goes to a power 5 school in a few years, he will be running rings around McBland and fat Woody.

In fact McNeese is probably a better team than LSU this year, unfortunately. I wonder why the NCAA sanctions aren't hurting Wade, but McBland and his arse kissers on this board are telling us it will take many years to overcome?

Who are the arse kissers? CMM isn’t a good coach and should be fired after this season. This isn’t a McMahon vs. Wade thing. We know who’s a better coach. Tiring of hearing about Will Wade is not the same as kissing CMM’s arse.

MBB had a different goal and that was to clean up its appearance. We have done that successfully and now it’s time to get going.

There’s an old saying that bosses don’t have to fire people because people fire themselves. Dumbass Wade is a prime example

Agreed. I love Woodward he’s done a fantastic job. He fricked up firing wade.

I’m holding out hope we make it right in a year or two and bring him back.

Would you “settle” for another good coach?

What he did with the way he handled the Will Wade situation should be enough to have his arse run out of town. A disgrace

LSU basketball needs a coach that will promote and bring excitement to the program. That was Wade. So if you’re gonna fire him, you better have someone with the same personality lined up. Instead Woody hired white Trent Johnson.

Both can be true, but are not. Will Wade is an arrogant clown who got his own arse fired. There is a reason why he hasn't sued for being wrongly terminated
