You think that Alleva is going to go to the board ask for another nine million to fire his hand picked coach after three games into his 2nd season?

I don’t know how many times this has to be stated - Under no circumstances, at all, is Alleva going to fire Orgeron.

Allevas contract expires in June. He needs 10+ wins from O and a Final 4 run by Wade to get a new one.

Make no mistake.

LSU goes 6-6 or worse and both Alleva and O are gone. Period.

According to ESPN Analysts, he is a darkhorse Heisman candidate. His passing problems last season were mainly due to injuries and lack of talent at WR.

Ya and with his ability to run he doesn’t have to be an elite passer. If he just has a pretty good season as a passer States offense is gonna be salty. Y’all need that big time WR to step up. We got like 8 w/o a proven passer. Haha !

Yep. Scouts are saying that Guidry will go pro after this year, so hopefully he has a big season and does.

The injury will still be fresh in his mind.....State is overrated and Mullen underrated.

And Les Miles was fired because despite consistently winning ten games a year he couldn't beat Bama so bring on Coach O.

In fact, if LSU beats Miami, he should be gone
why, because his opinion differs from yours?

i wish this was true, but highly doubtful.

As long as the revenue keeps flowing in, Alleva is safe. For an AD, it's primarily about money. i wish it wasn't like that, but that's just the way it is.

Is Scott Rabalais transitioning into a woman?

Since when has being logical and honest been synonymous with being a woman?

I expect better than 7-5 but I’m a bit of a pumper by nature. But logically 7-5 seems like a real possibility for the first time in a looong time. Questionable O-line, unknown commodities at both RB and QB. What looks to be the toughest schedule we’ve had in many years without that known elite runner (usually 2) to get us over the hump in a few close games. It is possible that any of the RBs we have could prove themselves to be more than stellar, we just don’t really know.

And that team was beating LSU down in Tiger Stadium before LSU woke up AND that team absolutely went to sleep.

Comparing 0 to Debo is right up there with boxcar comparing JJ to Brett Farve. Just stop.
