This.

Anyone that doesn’t think BR will be absolute pandemonium if we lose five games is a complete idiot.

Alleva absolutely will not make the next hire. His wagon is hitched to Orgeron.

If we go 1-2, O might be gone. Alleva might feel that if he does this preemptively, that he'll be good as long as Will Wade knocks it out the park this year... and he might.

LSU could easily lose to an combination of:

No doubt but we have a good defense and could easily win all 7 of these games and hopefully at least 5

It really depends on QB play and this year more than most

The SEC West is without a doubt the toughest conference most years. Add Miami and our yearly Florida game along Georgia this year makes this the hardest schedule in college football.

If O pulls off winning 10 regular season games or even 9 then he deserves some respect. LSU's defense should carry this team if if the offense does not score enough to win most of these 7 games then there will be some changes

Alleva is a terrible AD, but he’s smarter than this. He would be signing his death wish.

The front 7 will undoubtedly be great. The defensive backfield could we a weakness that could cost us games like OM that we should win. OM has a good QB and two first rounders as receivers with a really good offensive line (with another first rounder).

If we can’t run on them, they can beat us.

I think the lack of depth at CB could really affect the win/lose record this year.

If O tanks at 6-6 or 7-5 this year, it's Alleva's arse

Alleva is done in the spring either way. That writing has been on the wall. Contract expires and he’s of retirement age.

10/13 Georgia - Loss
10/20 Mississippi St. -Win
11/3 Alabama - Loss
11/10 at Arkansas - Win
11/17 Rice - Win
11/24 at Texas A&M - Loss

My initial thought at the schedule is 7-5. But like you say, there's a lot of toss ups.

On the positive side of that thought... beat Florida and beat A&M. 9-3.

On the lesser side of it, lose to Miami and State...5-7

So my prediction is entirely worthless because I can legit see this team finishing anywhere from 5-7 to 9-3.

There's 2 teams (UGA and Bama) who are decidedly better and are likely losses. There's a 3rd team that's probably better (Auburn). Then there's a lot of teams I'd put on equal footing to LSU in 2018 (Miami, Florida, A&M, State) plus teams that are down but capable of an upset (Ole Miss and Arkansas)

They could win 5 of these also imo. Complete toss ups at the moment outside of bama and UGA who just are flat out better and more talented

Florida is going to be garbage. Not losing to them.

Auburn is a 50/50 game. Aranda owns Gus.

Georgia lost a ton of production from last year and is being overrated. Their schedule is easy, so they'll still very likely win the East.

Loss to aTm? Lol.

This team is 9-3 or 10-2. The game against State at home is much more likely of a loss than Florida or aTm, even if those two games are on the road.

But if he predicted LSU going 12-0 you would be ok with the Advocate keeping him?

Tha frick?

Why is Florida garbage?

They have athletes everywhere, don't have 15 guys suspended this season, and they almost beat us last year as fricked up as they were with Butterteeth. Now they have a coach that pushed our shite in last season.

Not going to say we lose it definitely but going to UF is always tough sledding.

Miami (FL) - Win
9/8 Southeastern LA - Win
9/15 at Auburn - Win 50% Loss 50%
9/22 Louisiana Tech -Win
9/29 Ole Miss -Win
10/6 at Florida - Win
10/13 Georgia - Win 55% Loss 45%
10/20 Mississippi St. Better be a blowout, Win
11/3 Alabama - Win 40% Loss 60
11/10 at Arkansas - Win
11/17 Rice - Win
11/24 at Texas A&M - Win

That's not even a crazy expectation. I have major confidence in the players... all of them... if they don't win, it's not on them completely.

I said 7-5 or 6-6. O won’t survive the season even though expectations are tepid. People will forget the projections when the losses come frequently.
