I think LSU is better off by doing what they’re doing than by being more accommodating to Wade’s current limitations.

I don’t want to accommodate Wade necessarily to protect Wade. I believe we should accommodate Wade to protect LSU.

If that’s what works, so do I. Obviously I don’t think that’s the best way to protect LSU.

I still do fundamentally think that no matter how stupid and ill-timed the meeting was, Wade’s refusal to talk to his bosses is a bigger issue. Nothing against Wade, but we can’t have any of that here. Good luck with your legal issues, but we have a basketball program to run.

This statement is pure irony. You are describing yourself and want the media to be biased.

I want Wade to coach too. I could not careless about “cheating” basketball has always “dirty” and it’s beyond assine for players in a billion dollar industry to get nothing but sadly those are the rules and Wade is apparently on tape discussing breaking them and he refuses to discuss with his employer. That his bosses fricked everything up doesn’t completely get him off the hook.

he NCAA requested to be there. They are the governing body of college athletics. You don’t exactly have a choice.

Well then I’m glad the meeting did not happen. Also if true, unless the NCAA did this for everyone on the tapes screw them for cherry picking and screw LSU admins for making such a big deal that they would want to show up.

Rabalais is accusing wade of “hiding”. Rabalais is either pretending or is actually an idiot because he is a Witness in a federal trial he can’t talk about this to anyone much less the idiotic press.
Not acknowledging that and in fact calling him a coward because of that makes him a hack

He also said Smart was mentioned by name on the tapes and he was not. The name Javonte was not mentioned. Rabalais is a little shite starter just like Thamel and Wolken and all those other punks.

And this is where the Ned Stark rule applies: everything before the word “but” is total bullshite.

This.

The admin has done just as much to condemn this program this week as Wade may or may not have.

It's like they are purposefully self sabotaging in the hopes the NcAA will reward their lack of backbone. Yeah, that's how this is going to go. I

As for OP, I agree Rabalais is a no talent hack, but I don't begrudge him for putting his "personal success" over LSU. He doesn't work for the university.

Is that dumb frick even an alum??

Well, since the judge issued an order classifying all evidence in the case and anyone who violates that could be held in contempt of court, I'm gonna have to go ahead and disagree with you on that.

I've now read the order. This order was issued to the two parties involved in the case (plaintiff and defendants). If you or I have some "inside " info about this case, we are not bound by the judge's orders. The same goes for the press (Yahoo). The judge believes someone (the defendants) have leaked state's evidence to the public (Yahoo) in an effort to prejudice the case and that is what his order is all about. So, I believe Wade talking to his bosses about what he did or did not do is not affected by this court order.

Look at his writing, it's pretty clear that he doesn't know the word 'smart' is an adjective. Almost assuredly because no one has ever used it to describe him.

Everybody, Rabelais included understands Wade an not talk based on his lawyer’s advice. The depiction of this fact as “hiding” is plainly a dishonest hit piece. Entirely unprofessional.

That's funny right there! I must agree! Most people I was in journalism classes with had asperations to be well-known novelist. I'm sure Rabalais has had those same asperations at one time. But, like you mentioned,
