So he’s not using the VR system? Why can’t the coaches “make” him use it? I don’t understand.

don’t hate Nuss at all. It is just convenient that his known deficiencies are now being blamed on injury when he plays poorly ; errant passes & footwork, missed deep balls etc.

You are full of shite.

But total crickets when he goes 25-31 3tds vs SELA.

The FCS school?

I think my filter is just fine. He’s better than this but it’s also not shocking he plays poorly vs good teams. You are being a bit naive.

Anyone who can watch him throw up floating ducks and doesn’t come to the conclusion that he’s playing injured shouldn’t be commenting on it. He’s gone from a gunslinger with above average arm talent to looking like your average high school QB.

You fall into that category.

Exactly, we have large enough sample size to know that against real competition this is who Nuss is. He wasn’t injured last season and played the same exact way.

It’s absolutely baffling. One, as to why Garrett wouldn’t use it, and two, why the coaches didn’t just implement it into their regime.

He played like shite in the Ole Miss and SC games last year. Clemson he played decent but it wasn’t some type of elite performance

Does he only feel pain vs SEC schools? How does that work?

He has other throws where he shows velocity & length and looks just fine. It’s hard to pardon bad throws when he’s always had the tendencies to make poor throws. You want to blame it solely on injuries, that is fine. In the same vain that I “hate” Nuss, I’m sure you’ve always been a staunch defender no matter what.

You might have hit the nail on the head. Got engaged in off season so how much time has he really put in training for football and not marriage.

Actually if the pass was long enough it was a touchdown, the second receiver was open, the pass was just really short so the receiver on the back end got lost unless paying attention. Nuss has not been able to throw the deep ball for whatever reason and his decision making is terrible.

Meaningless scrimmage

Had a very bad game but showed up late

Should've lost due to a pick six but got a lucky flag (SC player was idiotic)

Managed the game well, didn't win because of him

Nuss has started 19 games here and I'm almost certain he's never showed up for four quarters in a big game

No he doesn't. At least not in the OM game. We are being lied to about the extent of his injury. I do believe that it was getting better but his limited motion was as bad as its been all season againt OM. He couldn't even throw short pass accurately.

his biggest mistake was getting engaged before the season
that could have waited until after the season

He couldn’t throw short passes accurately because of his footwork. Nothing to do with an injury that’s already healed

I heard from people who knew him in high school he acted spoiled and entitled. Would hope he’d have outgrown that by now.

That must have been later in his high school career. I saw a couple of games early in high school as he played with my nephew. I didn't get this impression from his teammates at that time.

He was bracing against hits in that game just like the others.

Pain tolerance. Look it up.

He can let it go if he’s wants to, but he clearly doesn’t every time. He lets them float when he thinks he can get away with it. Again, pain tolerance, brush up on how that works.

As far as my “defending” Nuss, I’ve already said he needs to be benched because he’s costing the team wins. I just don’t see any reason to bash his ability or character by saying he sucks, is lazy or is lying about being hurt to “protect his draft stock”.

He’s trying to play through pain, which is something I respect but at some point Kelly and the staff have to do what’s best for the team and Nuss.

At least Nuss took the time to learn all his goofy handshakes and TikTok dances.

Is that normal for Scarborough to call out a player?

If this is valid, then he should NEVER have been the starter.

Yes he does. Go watch these two throws specifically that travel 20 & 25yrs in the air, respectively.

Furthermore, he had a beautifully placed deep ball to Hilton along the ride sideline that Hilton tried to catch with one hand.
